Endemism is significant to study the regional species.It is one of the most important contents in regional features and flora.In order to know spatial distribution characteristics of Chinese woody seed plants and its relationship between environmental factors,the spatial distribution characteristics of endemic woody seed plants and their relationship between environmental factors were measured by using Stevens method,Pagel method,Midpoint method,Cross species method,and linear correlation method.The main researches focused on the distribution of species along the latitude and elevation,spatial distribution characteristics of Chinese woody seed plants,the relationship between spatial distribution of species distribution and environmental factors.Here,the main results were followed:?1?Spatial distribution of Chinese endemic woody seed plants was not uniform.Distributions in Yunnan and Sichuan regions were more concentrated in Qinling Mountains,south of Huaihe line.Distributions of Chinese endemic woody seed plants were more in Yunnan Gaoyuan and the The Hengduan Mountains.Use Yunnan and Sichuan as the center to the east,west and north,the distributions of Chinese endemic woody seed plants decreased gradually.The distribution area of the species on the latitude is mainly located in the China southwest and northeast.A narrow range species distribution was scattered,mainly distributed in the low latitude area.The distribution area did not constitute the overall distribution.The elevational wide range species mainly located in the west and northwest,the area of higher elevation,and narrow range was relatively scattered.?2?In the test of the Rapoport rule,the whole species and the 3 growth forms followed the Rapoport rule.The Pagel method supported the rule most.In the test of 3 growth forms species in latitudinal gradient,the Liana followed the Rapoport rule best?k=0.653?,tree was second?k=0.540?,the weakest was shrub?k=0.473?;Liana species followed Rapoport rule best?k=0.900?,shrub was second?k=0.694?,tree did not easily support Rapoport rule in elevational gradient.?3?The test of the Rapoport rule on the latitude was more suitable than the Rapoport rule on the elevation(RLA=0.092>RELE=-0.198.Species range size was mainly affected by isothermality,max temperature of warmest month.Relationship between species shrub'range size and many environment were the strongest(Rshurb=0.110)in latitudinal gradients,environmental factors affected species range size were tree in elevational gradients(Rtree=0.216).?4?The relationship between whole species,3 growth forms species numbers and the latitudinal gradient showed a single peak curve model in latitudinal gradients,The tree species numbers were influenced mostly by latitude?r=0.981?,while the liana species were lowest?r=0.966?.The whole species numbers and 3 growth forms species were negatively correlated with elevation.The tree species numbers was the most with influence of elevation?k=-0.998?,and the lowest was liana?r=-0.474?.?5?Relationship between China endemic woody seed plant richness and species range size.Species richness was positively correlated with species range size in latitudinal gradient;Species richness was positively correlated with elevational species range size?r=0.709,k=6.314,P<0.001?.3 kinds of growth forms species richness with variation of latitude and elevation range size.Influence of the liana species richness was the most,shrub richness was less.?6?Analysis of the relationship between species richness and environmental factors.In energy,environmental factors,water environmental factors,comprehensive environmental factors on the relationship between species richness model.Explain the environmental factors of energy best was the mean temperature of warmest month?Mean TWAM??r2=0.419?,Mean temperature of warmest quarter?Mean TWQ?was second?r2=0.418?.Explain the water environmental factors of the best is precipitation of warmest quarter?PREWAQ??r2=0.310?,the comprehensive influence of environmental factors were elevation?ELE?environmental factors?r2=0.390?.
