Study On Costs And Benefits Of Animal Husbandry In Shanxi Province

Shanxi province has abundant foraging resources,so the animal husbandry industry has a comparative advantage over other agricultural industries in Shanxi.Through the analysis of the costs and benefits of the animal husbandry industry in Shanxi Province,this paper can deduce the development trend of animal husbandry industry in Shanxi Province,find out the problems,and put forward some solutions to improve the competitiveness of animal husbandry industry in Shanxi province.This study mainly uses normative analysis,empirical analysis,qualitative analysis,quantitative analysis,and other research methods,based on comparative advantage and competitive advantage theory.The paper analyzes the output of three main products of pigs,egg-laying hens and dairy cows in Shanxi province and the variation trend of production costs and income in different scale and compared them with the national average,and discovers the factors that restrict the competitiveness of these three industries.The research shows that the industries with a competitive advantage in Shanxi province are the large scale pig breeding industry and the dairy industry.Meanwhile,through the analysis,it is found that the low scale of breeding,human resources,cooperation organizations do not play a role are the main problems of the animal husbandry industry in Shanxi province.This paper suggests that producers should choose a reasonable size of breeding,and that the government should promote the development of feed processing industry and forage industry,improve the service ability of cooperation organizations,and actively promote the industrialization of animal husbandry.
