High-yield Cultivation Pattern Of Roegneria Kamoji Cv.Chuanzhong (Triticeae:Poaceae) In Chengdu Plain

Roegneria kamoji Ohwi(2n=6x=42,StStYYHH)is a perennial species in Roegneria of the tribe Triticeae with large fleshy leaves.Roegneria kamoji cv.Chuanzhong is a new variety breed by Triticeae Research Institute,Sichuan Agricultural University.The variety is perennial with high protein content(24.6%),and is resistant to soil sterile.In order to investigate the management strategies for high forage yields of R.kamoji cv.Chuanzhong in Chengdu plain,we use single factor processing methods in different sowing quantity(2 g.m-2,3 g.m-2,4 g.m-2,5 g.m-2),line spacing(15 cm,20 cm,30 cm,40 cm),fertilizer(5 g.m-2,10 g.m-2,15 g.m-2,20 g.m-2,25 g.m-2),sowing time(28th September,8th October,18th October,28th October)and mixed with other pasture(Lolium multiflorum Lamk,Festuca elata Keng ex.E.Alexeev,Dactylis glomerata L.,Poa annua L.,Trifolium repens L.)with different ratio(2:1,1:1,1:2).The main results were as follows:1.When the sowing rate of 2 g.m-2,3 g.m-2,4 g.m-2,5 g.m-2,the fresh weight of R.kamoji cv.Chuanzhong was 2.22 kg.m-2,3.31 kg.m-2,2.51 kg.m-2,2.41 kg.m-2,respectively,and the dry weight of R.kamoji cv.Chuanzhong was 0.67 kg.m-2,0.93 kg.m-2,0.73 kg.m-2,0.68 kg.m-2,respectively.The yield reached the maximum when the seeding rate was 3 g.m-2.Analysis of variance and multiple range test showed that 3 g.m-2 sowing rate and sowing rate were significant difference(P>0.50).The result showed that the yield amount would be highest when the sowing rate was in 3 g.m-2.2.When the spacing of 15 cm,20 cm,30 cm,40 cm,the fresh weight of R.kamoji cv.Chuanzhong was 1.69 kg.m-2,1.85 kg.m-2,2.35 kg.m-2,1.82 kg.m-2,respectively,and the dry weight of R.kamoji cv.Chuanzhong was 0.47 kg.m-2,0.49 kg.m-2,0.82 kg.m-2,0.60 kg.m-2,respectively.The yield reached the maximum when the spacing was 30 cm.Analysis of variance and multiple range test showed that 30 cm row spacing and row spacing of other was significant difference(P>0.50).It indicates that increasing the line spacing is beneficial to make full use of light,moisture and soil nutrients for plant under the same seeding amount,in which it can grow well and get higher yield.In addition,stems performance thinner due to more dense plant,which leading to easier occurrence of lodging when the line spacing is too low according to field observation.3.When the amount of fertilize of 5 g.m-2,10 g.m-2,15 g.m-2,20 g.m-2,25 g.m-2,the fresh weight of R.kamoji cv.Chuanzhong was 2.08 kg/m2,2.39 kg.m-2,2.68 kg.m-2,3.47 kg.m-2,3.11 kg.m-2,respectively,and the dry weight of R.kamoji cv.Chuanzhong was 0.66 kg.m-2,0.73 kg.m-2,0.77 kg.m-2,0.94 kg.m-2,0.82 kg.m-2,respectively.The yield reached the maximum when the fertilizer was 20 g.m-2.Analysis of variance and multiple range test showed that 20 g.m-2 fertilizer and fertilizer of other low level were significant difference(P>0.50)and 20 g.m-2 fertilizer and fertilizer of 25 g.m-2 fertilizer weight and dry weight were not significant difference(P>0.50).The result showed that the right amount of fertilizer is conducive to high yield,and large amount of fertilizer cannot continue to increase production.4.When the sowing date of 28th September,8th October,18th October,28th October,the fresh weight of R.kamoji cv.Chuanzhong was 2.27 kg.m-2,2.33 kg.m-2,2.20 kg.m'2,2.08 kg.m-2,respectively,and the dry weight of R.kamoji cv.Chuanzhong was 0.67 kg.m-2,0.73 kg.m'2,0.66 kg.m-2,0.63 kg.m-2,respectively.The yield difference between the first three sowing rarely,and only the fourth sowing grass yield low performance,analysis of variance and multiple range test showed that the difference was not significant.The result showed that in late September to mid-October were the appropriate for sowing in Chengdu plain.5.With a single sowing different varieties of pasture as control,we tested R.kamoji cv.Chuanzhong mixed with other pasture(L.multiflorum,F.elata,D.glomerata,P.annua,T.repens)with different ratio(2:1,1:1,1:2).Mixed sowing test results showed that the yield was the highest when R.kamoji cv.Chuanzhong and L.multiflorum with 1:1 mixed,the fresh weight and the dry weight were 2.12 kg.m-2 and 0.59 kg.m-2,respectively.Meanwhile,the yield was the lowest when R.kamoji cv.Chuanzhong and T.repens with 1:2 mixed,the fresh weight and the dry weight were 0.98 kg.m-2 and 0.27 kg.m-2,respectively.Yield of ChuangZhong mixed with other pasture were higher than that of single sowing6.Our results showed that the best cultivation pattern of Chengdu plain was:3 g.m-2 sowing rate,20 gm-2 fertilizer rate,30 cm line spacing and sowing in the middle of October.The best mixed sowing was that R.kamoji cv.R.kamoji cv.Chuanzhong mixed with L.multiflorum with 1:1.
