Fertilization and planting density are important factors of plant seed production,Lespedeza davurica cv.Jinnong No.1 as experimental material was used to study the relationship between fertilization and planting density of Lespedeza davurica with seed yield and some related characters.The experiment sets up 16 treatments that were composed of different amount of N,P,K fertilizer,N fertilizer has 4 gradients No,N1,N2 and N3,the application amount are 0,75,125 and 175kg/hm2.P fertilizer has 2 gradients P1 and P2,the application amount are 50 and 100kg/hm2.K fertilizer has 2 gradients K,and K2,the application amount are 75 and 150kg/hm.Planting density sets up 2 treatment inclouding Low planting density(6/m)and High planting density(12/m2),.A total of 32 treatments were designed for planting density and fertilization.The main results are as follows:1.The effects of different fertilizer combinations on yield of Lespedeza davurica seeds vary widely,in Low planting density group N1P1K1 has the highest seed yield,High planting density group N3P2K2 has the highest seed yield.In the P2K2 combination,the seed yield increases with the increase of N fertilizer application,and in other combinations of P,K fertilizer,the seed yield increases at first and then decreases when increases N fertilizer application.There are some different effects of agronomic characters and seed qualitative characters in different fertilizer treatments.2.Single plant seed yield of Lespdeza davurica is different among different planting density.There are 5 groups show significant difference(P<0.01)in the 2 densities.The group of N3P2K1 shows that Low density treatment has more single seed yield than High density treatment,the other 4 groups show that Low density treatment has less single seed yield than High density treatment.The effects of planting density on Lespedeza davurica both agronomic characters and quality characters have different varying degrees.3.The potential seed yield in plants is to get the maximum seed yield in the abstract.The ratio of actual seed yield in potential seed yield indicates that seed losses(abortion,grain etc.).In this study,the rate of actual seed yield in potential seed yield of Lespedeza davurica is from 25.7%to 62.09%.In the different fertilization treatment on same planting density,there is no significant difference in the rate of actual seed yield of potential seed yield;and in the treatment of different planting density on same fertilization,the group of N0P1K2 has significant difference,the other groups do not have significant difference.4.Single seed yield has a significant positive correlation with Plant height,Stem diameter,Amount of first older branch,Amount of second order branch and Amount of podding inflorescence.The correlation showes Amount of podding inflorescence>Stem diameter>Amount of second order branch>Plant height>Amount of first order branch.The correlation between the single plant seed yield and the quality traits just 1000-seed weight shows significantly negative correlation.5.During the Lespedeza davurica seed quality traits,Hardness percent and 1000-seed weight,Water absorbability,Germination rate,Germination energy and Germination index are highly significantly negatively correlated,the other seed quality traits has positive correlation each other,the Water absorbability and Germination rate is significantly correlated(0.01<P<0.05),the other traits is highly significant correlation each other.
