This work investigated the influence of temperature,photoperiod,diet and different farming methods on the growth,reproduction,physiological and biochemical characteristics of larval Quasipaa spinosa,so as to provided the scientific basis for artificial breeding of Quasipaa spinosa.The results are as follows:Influence of temperature on larval Quasipaa spinosa's growth.The results showed that:the relative weight gain rate,specific growth rate and feed efficiency was highest at 26?,they were 71.59±1.88%,1.79±0.04%·d1-and 38.52±1.54%respectively.There was no significant difference in the survival rate of the larval Quasipaa spinosa at 22 ? and 26 ?(P>0.05),they all reached 97.22±4.81%,but significantly higher than other temperature test groups(P<0.05).Influence of temperature on Intestinal digestive enzymes of larval Quasipaa spinosa.The results showed that:the optimum temperature of intestinal protease,lipase and amylase in larval Quasipaa spinosa were 45 ?,40 ? and 35 ?respectively.The experiment was carried on at four different photoperiod of 2L:22D,6L:18D,10L:14D,14L:10D,to study the optimum photoperiod of larval Quasipaa spinosa.The results showed that:there was no significant difference in the relative weight gain rate,specific growth rate and feed efficiency between 10L:14D and 14L:10D test groups(P>0.05),but significantly higher than other test groups(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the feeding rate and survival rate between the 6L:18D,10L:14D and 14L:10D test groups(P>0.05),but they were significantly higher than the 2L:22D test group(P<0.05).To explore the effects of different diet on the growth,physiological and biochemical processes of larval Quasipaa spinosa,larval Quasipaa spinosa was fed with Tenebrio molitor,housefly larvae and artificial diet.The results showed that:there was no significant difference in the relative weight gain rate,specific growth rate between two live food test groups(P>0.05),but significantly higher than artificial diet test groups(P<0.05).When larval Quasipaa spinosa was fed with artificial diet,the feed efficiency was significantly higher than that of other groups(P<0.05).When larval Quasipaa spinosa was fed with two kinds of live food,the survival rate was significantly higher than that of the artificial feed test group(P<0.05).When larval Quasipaa spinosa was fed with artificial diet,the crude protein content of the frog muscle was low and the content of crude fat was high,which was significantly different from that of the other two groups(P<0.05).When larval Quasipaa spinosa was fed with artificial diet,the activity of three intestinal digestive enzymes were significantly higher than those of other groups(P<0.05).Base on above physiological and biochemical research we ' ve made some exploration into year-old growth breeding technology.The results showed that:when used year-old growth breeding technology and mixed diet,the growth rate,feed efficiency and survival rate of Quasipaa spinosa were the highest.The growth curve of the frog is basically a "S" type in this year-old growth breeding farming mode.The behavior rhythm is the most normal and the reproductive ability is the strongest in this way of ordinary outdoor breeding mode and fed the mixed diet.
