Investigation And Development Suggestions Of Street Trees In The Main District Of Qinhuangdao City

This paper selected 21 major roads in the main district of Qinhuangdao as the research object,and investigated and studied the street trees and their green belts.The research contents mainly included three aspects:structure of species,growth status,planting form of street trees.The main research results of this article were:1.Species structure of QinhuangdaoA total of 29,360 trees on 21 major roads in Qinhuangdao belonged to 13 family and 16 genera.The roads with better species diversity were Minzu Road,Hebei Street,Qinhuangdong Street,Hongqi Road,and Jianshe Street.The poorer roads were Xigang North Road and Guangming Road.The more adaptable street trees in qinhuangdao were:Platanus x acerifolia Willd.,Pinus tabulaeformis Carr.,Sophora japonica L.,Populus tomentosa Carr..The branching points of the street trees were low and not uniform.The proportion of young trees was large,and there were fewer large diameter trees.The vertical structure was mainly a single layer of arbors and a two-layer structure of tree irrigation and arbor.2.Analysis of the growth status of Qinhuangdao road treeThe growth and ornamental nature of the street trees in Qinhuangdao were general.The trees with better adaptability were Sophora japonica L.,Sophora japonica L.’chrysoclada’,Platanus x acerifolia Willd.,Euonymus maackii Rupr.,Koelreuteria paniculata Laxm.,Salix matsudana Koidz..Planting distance was generally small.The main section of the Qinhuangdao road was a "two-plate and three-plate" and "four-belt road".3.Analysis of planting forms of street trees in QinhuangdaoStreet trees of most roads were planted in the form of tree pools,and some roads were planted in tree belts in Qinhuangdao.The tree pool cover was mostly made of gravel,and the treatment method was non-fixed hard treatment.The tree belts were mostly covered with green plants and treated in a soft way.The tree pool form was mostly a tall tree pool.4.Problems in applying street trees in QinhuangdaoUnreasonable species structure;The selection of street tree species was inroper,and the tone features were not obvious;Individual tree species were not well adapted and lacked adequate management;The planting distance was small;Branch points were low and inconsistent.5.Development suggestions of Qinhuangdao street trees.Excavate tree resources and optimize tree structure;Establish the backbone street tree species,promote the formation of urban green tone;Reasonable planning of street tree spacing;Variety of tree’s application;Strengthen the maintenance and management of street trees.
