Investigation And Analysis On The Present Situation Of Laying Hens In The Plain Area Of Handan

Handan has a long history of laying hens,and it is one of the main supply areas in Beijing Tianjin Hebei region.With continuous improvement of the living standard of people,not only the demand for egg products is more and more diversified,but also the requirement for the quality of eggs is increasing,and it pays more attention to the problem of egg safety.So in recent years,the industry has led to “improve the production level,reduce the feeding cost,stabilize the number of chickens and improve the quality of products”.Handan’s layer raising industry is developing towards scale,standardization and mechanization,the layer industry is changing from the small-scale and large group to a large-scale and intensive one.The key to the development of the laying hens industry is to develop the proper scale breeding,realize the rationalization of the layout of the breeding area and carry out the scientific and efficient breeding.It is not only beneficial to improve the production performance of the laying hens,but also to control the major diseases and reduce the production cost directly or indirectly,and realize the maximization of the production efficiency.Therefore,starting from a moderate scale,reasonable layout and scientific and efficient breeding,we should speed up the transformation and upgrade of the egg laying industry,improve the quality and efficiency,meet the needs of different consumption groups,and achieve the goal of "increasing efficiency of animal husbandry and farmers’ income".In this study,the amount of livestock on hand of hens breeding farms which had more than 2000 scale were investigated in Handan plain area.I designed a questionnaire on selected farms,it included the scale and field number of farm,the site location and layout of field area,the number of laying hens,the raising breeds,the type of chicken house,the cage structure,the feeding mode,the way of drinking water,the egg collection mode,the method of cleaning manure,the proportion of consumption mode,and the structure of personnel,then I conduct a field survey and a visit to the local animal husbandry department.I have a comprehensive understanding of the status of laying hens in Handan plain area by collating and analyzing the collected literature and data.The problems of layer scale,industrial layout,layer strains,disease prevention,egg processing and excrement disposal were mainly analyzed.In view of the above problems,combined with the local actual situation,the following suggestions are put forward:Firstly,we should increase the share of domestic varieties and screen suitable domestically grown varieties.Secondly,we should develop appropriate scale breeding and realize rational layout.combined with environmental protection requirements,we should make unified plans for the laying hens industry in plain areas.Taking advantage of local resources,we should develop appropriate scale breeding according to local conditions.Thirdly,we should strengthen technical training and raise the professional quality of aquaculture teams.Fourthly,we should strengthen the management of epidemic prevention and improve the biosecurity system.Fifthly,we should improve the quality of eggs,and strive to create "brand eggs".Sixthly,we should improve the industrial chain of laying hens and develop the deep processing industry of egg products.Seventhly,we should enhance environmental awareness,promote the utilization of excrement and waste resources,and promote the sustainable and healthy development of the layer industry.Eighthly,we should tap the development advantages of the layer industry,open up the Beijing Tianjin Hebei layer market,create famous brand,promote the transformation and upgrading of the layer industry in Handan plain area.
