The aim of this study are germplasm investigation and evaluation of local chicken populations resources in zhejiang,and to provide valuable theoretical basis for exploitation and utilization of these varieties of resources,moreover,the effects of different culture models on the expression of candidate genes who participate in synthesizing inosinic acid were also studied.We get some results as following:1.Results showed that the carcassc persentage among six chicken breeds ranged from 87.75%to 91.00%,eviscerated persentage ranged from 57.56%to 70.30%,and XS chicken’s eviscerated persentage was 70.30%whose eviscerated persentage was highest,while queshan chicken’s eviscerated persentage was 57.56%which opposite to XJ chicken;producing meat performance of GT was fine,chest muscle,leg muscle persentage of GT were 21.71%,28.53%,respectively exceeding other five breeds;egg shell thickness among five breeds were insignificant,xiaoshan chicken egg thickness was only 0.28 mm,Hardy unit of queshan chicken breed was 84.6,which was significantly higher than other breeds,our study revealed the egg quality of QS and XJ was fine;the meat quality indicated that Xiaoshan chicken was fresh and juicy(high hydraulic and low shear force).But as for DHA was concerned,meat quality of QS was better than other three breeds,which means QS has a high nutritional value.2.The objectives of this study are to investigate genetic diversity and genetic structure among different chicken populations in zhejiang,and to provide valuable theoretical basis for exploitation and utilization of these varieties of resources.population containing 418 isolates collected from different chicken breeds of zhejiang were genetically assessed using 26 SSR markers.The result showed mean of observed and effective number of alleles were 7.280 and 3.620,respectively.Shannon’s information index ranging from 1.227 to 1.535 with an average of 1.42.Observed heterozygosity ranging from 0.552 to 0.614 with an mean of 0.571,and the expected heterozygosity ranging from 0.608 to 0.706 with an mean of 0.660.The positive value of inbreeding coefficient(Fis=0.045)indicated deficiency of heterozygotes among seven chicken populations of zhejiang.four out of seven populations significantly deviated from HWE due to heterozygote deficiency,Da-based dendrogram indicated that all populations were separated into two genetically differentiated subgroups the first group included two populations(QS and BR),the second group included other five populations,XJ and LY were firstly separeated together,then XS,SY,GT,respectively which in concert with Sructure-based analysis.Extensive genetic admixture was observed among seven populations,and proper high levels of gene flow occurring within seven populations(Nm=1.4918.653),which also indicated by low population differentiation(Fst=0.028~0.144),moreover it does exist gene flow and insignificant divergence among 7 different chicken breeds of zhejiang.3.the effects of different culture models on the expression of candidate genes who participate in synthesizing inosinic acid were carried out,result showed this four candidate genes AMPD1、GAR S-AIRS-GART、ADSL、GPAT,most were positive correlation,which means there existed some connection among these key Enzymes who take responsibilities of synthesizing inosinic acid,ultimately affect content of IMP.
