Agropyron Gaertn.were the perennial cross-pollinationin plants in Triticeae of Gramineae and has many excellent features of multiple tillers, multiple spikelets, and multiple florets, and It has physiological traits of cold-resistance,drought resistance,salt-alkali resistance, and resistance to powdery mildew.Leaf rust, scab, etc. There was a large variation in the population and there was abundant genetic diversity.Excavating the special characteristics of the Agropyron cristatum L.and screening the excellent genes is of great value for the improvement of wheat breeding. Therefore, wheat breeders have always attached importance to this species. The experiment used interspecies F1 hybrids of A.cristatum L.and A.mongolicum Keng as materials, and they were planted in three ecological areas of Langfang,Zhangjiakou and Qinhuangdao, and evaluated in terms of agronomic traits and salt tolerance.Finding target materials and mining salt-tolerant genes would provide basis for the origin, genetic variation and breeding of new varieties of A.cristatum L.The research findings as follow:1.After surveying the agronomic traits of F1 populations in different regions,we found that the highest tillers were 550,the highest number of spikelets was 75,the highest number of small flowers was 36,the coefficient of variation ranged from 9.1% to 92.04%,and the average coefficient of variation was 33.15%.There were many productive traits such as multiple tillers, multiple spikelets, and multiple florets, and showed abundant variability. There was a correlation among the main agronomic traits. There were differences in the main agronomic traits in different regions.2.In order to determine the optimal salt tolerance of hybrid,F1 seedlings were potted with different concentrations of seawater to simulate salt stress, and 70% seawater concentration was found to be the appropriate salt concentration. The salt tolerance of 70% seawater in F1 materials was identified. The principal component analysis and cluster analysis of the physiological indexes of 32 materials found that No.90,No.22,No.53,No.99,No.3,No.50,No.25,No.129,No.109,No.121,No.65,No.127,No.101,No.111 and No.115 were more salt-tolerant than other materials.No.5,No.4,No.128,No.96 and No.126 were more salt-tolerant than other materials.
