The article was focused on Lateolabrax japonicus, discussing the effects of three kinds of herbs(Ferula sinkiangensis,Medicago falcata L,Garlic powder)on attractant activity, growth performance, nonspecific immune enzyme and digestive enzyme activity of L.japonicus.The characteristics and interaction characteristics of the three kinds of Chinese herbal medicines were studied respectively. All results were as follows:(1)Study of three kinds of Chinese herbs on attractant activity of Lateolabrax japonicus. The three kinds of Chinese herbal medicine were separately arranged into different juice(0.5%,1%,1.5%,2%,2.5%)then mixed with each other with an equal proportional as the same amount concentration level of single Chinese herbal medicine, with cotton together to make bait ball, attractant experiments were carried out.The results showed that three kinds of herbs had significant stimulating effect(P<0.05)on L.japonicus.Among them,The strongest attractant concentration of Ferula sinkiangensis was 1.5%,Medicago falcata L was 1%,and Garlic powder strongest concentration ranged from 0.5% to 1%.Strength of the attractant was shown that Ferula sinkiangensis > Garlic powder > Medicago falcata L.(2)Effects of the different levels of Ferula sinkiangensis on growth, nonspecific immune and digestive enzyme activity of Lateolabrax japonicus.Six diets were formulated to contain graded level of Ferula sinkiangensis(0.5%,1%,1.5%,2%,2.5%)and feeding for 28 d.The results showed that 1.5% concentration of Ferula sinkiangensis reduced feed coefficient significantly(P<0.05),1%-1.5% concentration enhanced liver index significantly, additive amount which more than 2% could reduced weight gain rate and specific growth rate significantly.Besides,Ferula sinkiangensis could enhance serum nonspecific immune enzyme activity.0.5% concentration of it enhanced T-SOD,LZM and TP in serum, while LZM and TP reached the maximum value at 1% concentration. The maximal value of trypsin and amylase in intestine of L.japonicus was shown at additive amount 1.5%concentration and significant difference(P<0.05)with control group.Furthermore,Ferula sinkiangensis decreased moisture content but increased the content of crude fat in Lateolabrax japonicus and 1%-1.5% of the experimental group showed the most obvious(P<0.05).Thisrange of crude protein was higher than other groups, but the difference was not significant.According to the results of this study,it was considered that the optimum dosage of Ferula sinkiangensis in feed was 1.5%.(3)Effects of Medicago falcata L on growth, nonspecific immune and digestive enzyme activity of Lateolabrax japonicus.Experimental design is the same as the first one.The results showed it mainly enhanced immune function and improved intestinal digestive enzyme activity while growth promoting effect was weak.Although it significantly increased the feed coefficient(P<0.05),but effects on other growth indicators was not significant.Besides,it also improved the serum immune enzyme activity, basically, the serum nonspecific immune enzyme activity was the strongest at 2%additive dosage(P<0.05).According to comprehensive results, the optimal concentration that Medicago falcata L had effect on immune and digestive enzyme activity of L.japonicus was around 2% concentration.(4)Effects of Garlic powder on growth, nonspecific immune and digestive enzyme activity of Lateolabrax japonicus.By feeding for 28 d,1% additive amount of Garlic powder significantly reduced the feed coefficient(P<0.05)and was minimum in all groups, decreased by 12.5% compared with the control group; With 1.5% Garlic powder adding into basic diet,T-SOD and TP was improved significantly(P<0.05).1% Garlic powder adding to the basal diet could significantly enhance serum LZM activity(P<0.05),1% and 1.5% Garlic powder had no significant effect on serum TP contents serum; Results from Garlic powder effect on digestive enzyme activities in intestine indicated that intestinal trypsin amylase and lipase activity was highest at 1% additive dosage(P< 0.05).Over all,the suitable additive dosage for Garlic powder was about 1% concentration.(5)Effects of compound Chinese herbal medicine on growth, nonspecific immune and digestive enzyme activity of Lateolabrax japonicus.Mixing the three kinds of Chinese herbal medicines with an equal proportion and then added to the compound feeds, formulating to five levels(0.5%,1%,1.5%,2%,2.5%)for discussing the effects of compound Chinese herb on growth performance,non-specific immunity and digestive enzyme activity of Lateolabrax japonicus. The results have displayed that adding2% of such a kind compound Chinese herb will obviously promote the growth performance, nonspecific immunity and digestive enzyme activity, the WGR,SGR,LZM,T-SOD and the trypsin activity in intestines all increase. The study has identified the best addition is 2%.
