Yield is one of the most important problems in crop breeding. The yield of tomato is mainly determined by the size of the fruit and the number of fruit. The number of fruit is mainly determined by the number of inflorescence in the single plant, the number of flowers in each inflorescence, and the fruit setting rate.Within a certain height range, the smaller the inflorescence takes spacing, the greater the number of inflorescence per plant does.Heat stress transcription factor(Hsf)is a large family factor, widely exists in animals and plants.ShHsfC1 gene plays an important role in the growth and development of tomato. In this study,F2 was used to locate QTL in the inflorescence node of tomato, and the related functions of ShHsfC1 gene were studied. The results are as follows:1.33 pairs of InDel Markers with good polymorphism and high stability were screened from 99 pairs of markers. The genetic map of the F2 population was constructed with this set of markers;the 744 single plants were investigated at the interval of the inflorescence, and the QTL location of the spacer interval was carried out by ICIM software, and two QTL,qN1SU-1-1 and qN1SU-1-2 were unearthed, and a total of 45%phenotypic variations were explained.2.Bioinformatics analysis of heat shock protein transcription factor ShHsfC1 gene indicates that it may mediate stress response and plant development pathway. The ShHsfC1 gene is strongly induced by the cold injury.Transgenic functional tests showed that ShHsfC1 gene from wild hairy tomato LA1777 could affect plant size and photosynthesis. The interaction protein of ShHsfC1 was screened by yeast double heterozygosity, and 65 proteins that could be interacted with each other were obtained, and 3 interacted proteins were confirmed by point to point verification.
