China is a big aquaculture country.Fish feeding is an important part in aquaculture.Feeding too much comes with the increasing cost and pollution.The lack of feeding makes fishes growing slowly,which will reduce the efficiency of aquaculture.How to realize the precision fish feeding is getting more and more attention.In the past,the judge of feed quantity mainly depends on the previous feeding experience and bioenergetic model.In view of the shortage of traditional feeding mode,we design a precision fish feeding control system in aquaculture.In this system,the underwater camera is used as a sensor to obtain the video of the fishes in the feeding process.Then,the host computer handles the video images,and quantifies the density of the fishes.Finally,the slave computer,which takes the MCU as the core,receives the real time fish density,and closes the feed motor when the real-time density value reaches the density threshold.In this paper,the density of the fishes in the feeding process is obtained by the computer vision technology.In the underwater environment,the quality of the video data obtained by the sensor is the most affected by the intensity of the illumination.The range of area captured by the camera and the threshold of fish density changed under different light intensities.In this paper,the meteorological index is introduced to reflect the intensity of light,and the slave computer system is run respectively in different weather conditions.According to the change of the density value in the feeding process,the threshold of satiety density can be calculated,and the expert library of the weather index and the threshold of satiety density is established.The system uses computer vision technology to monitor the density of fish group efficiently,combine host computer and slave machine,make the feeding process of aquaculture real-time,automatic and controllable.The main contents of this paper are as follows:(1)the hardware design of the system,specially the MCU part;(2)the software design of the system,specially the host computer part;(3)test the system and analyses the results.
