The conflict between human and wildlife increasing would bring the negative effect on the conservation of wildlife and threaten personal and property security of mankind.In recent years,wild boar(Sus scrofa)have dramatically increased and the conflict between human and wild boar also has constantly aggravated.From August to October in 2016 and 2017,we carried out the control research on the crop damage by wild boar using solar blinkers in the Hunchun of Jilin Province.We measured the crop damage control effect of wild boar with the first validity period which was defined as the period from the time we started to experiment to the time wild boar entered the experimental plots.And we also used the first prevention range as the control effect of wild boar damage which was defined as the straight-line distance from the place of farm damaged by wild boar firstly to the solar blinker,and transformed the first prevention range into range index.The results as the following:1.The prevention and control experiment in which solar blinker has been used in farmland preventing wild boar from farmland in 2016 concludes nine experimental group.First validity period between control group and all the experimental groups is significantly different(P<0.05).The first validity period of the control group is 2.7±0.5 days,The mean value of the first validity period of the experimental group was 28.3×9.9 days.The second and third validity period of experimental group that 150 Lux blue blinker and 150 Lux white blinker and the control group is 1.0 day.The number of non-zero wild boars entering the site is 3.24±1.01.2.The prevention and control experiment in which solar blinker has been used in farmland preventing wild boar from farmland in 2017 concludes thirteen experimental group,First validity period between control group and all the experimental groups is significantly different(P<0.05).The first validity period of the control group is 2.7±0.4 days,The mean value of the first validity period of the experimental group was 32.3 ±8.8 days.The second and third validity period of experimental group that 150 Lux blue blinker and 150 Lux white blinker and the control group is 1.0 day.The number of non-zero wild boars entering the site is 2.16±0.83.3.In the prevention and control experiment,there are second third validity period of 4 experiment groups that 150 Lux blue blinker and 150 Lux white blinker in 2016 and 2017,the second and third validity period of these experiment groups are all 1.0 days.It indicates that once the wild boar enter the experimental site,the prevention and control measures are ineffective.4.In addition to the experiment groups with 150 Lux no flashing red and green blinker in 2016 all the other experimental groups’ range index appeared for the first range index second range index ≥ third range index.5.There was no significant difference in the prevention and control experiment using the same control measures in 2016 and 2017(P>0.05).6.The first validity period and the first range index between different light quality of blinkers are significant differences(P<0.05).There is no any significant differences exists between different illuminance and the light flashing or not(P>0.05).The light flashing couldn’t provide the significant effect on the validity period and range index(P>0.05).7.The 150 Lux red blinker is the longest among the experimental groups,36.0±1.4 days The 11 experimental groups are the longest among the experimental groups,36 days.The light quality of solar blinker has a significant difference(P<0.05).The difference between the light intensity of solar warning lights and the flashing of solar warning lights did not produce significant difference(P>0.05).There is a significant difference between the mixture of blue and yellow solar blinker and the blue warning lights alone(P<0.05);There is no significant difference between the mixture of blue and yellow solar blinker and the yellow blinker alone(P>0.05).From the above results,solar blinker could control the crop damage of wild boar significantly.
