This paper utilized the forest ecological function index system established in the“National Forest Resources Continuous Inspection Technical Regulations” in 2014 to evaluate the ecological function of the forest of the state-owned forest farms in Xiuning County,Jinsishan Forest Farm in Dongzhi County,Xishan Forest Farm in Huoqiu County, and Dagongshan Forest Farm in Wuhe County,in Anhui Province.;The landscape types were divided by using the grades obtained from the evaluation of ecological functions.Based on this, the relevant principles of landscape ecology and ArcGIS processing software were used to analyze the landscape pattern of the forest.Considering the differences in the landscape patterns,we used multiple indicators to analyze the landscape pattern. In this paper, the index of the landscape pattern was evaluated using the index of the largest and smallest areas of the squad, the average area of the squad, the diversity index of the landscape, and the dominance index.Through the calculation of the ecological function index, the relationship between the forest ecological function index and the small class factor of each forest farm was analyzed separately, and the reasons that caused the change of the ecological function index were analyzed, which was of important reference significance to the key management of the forestry in the later period. The impact of different landscape patterns on the ecological functions of the forest is obtained,by analyzing the landscape pattern index and ecological function index of each tree farm, which can provide a basis for how to balance the landscape and ecological functions in the future.Based on the results of the comprehensive analysis, the ecological function patterns of four different regional forest farms were analyzed and compared to find out the reasons for the differences, which provided a theoretical reference for the forest management of state-owned forest farms in different regions of Anhui Province. The analysis of the paper concludes as follows:(1)The ecological function index is influenced by the origin, age group, tree structure and topography.Forests whose origins are natural forests have better ecological functions than those of planted forests. When age groups are in areas with near, mature, and over-mature forests, the forests have better ecological functions and the younger and younger ones are lower. The tree species structure is better in the ecological function of the coniferous and broad-leaved mixed forest;the geomorphology of the coniferous and broad-leaved mixed forest is best, the hilly area is the second, and the plain area is theworst;the ecological function of slopes is the best on the slopes, followed by the steep slopes, the steep slopes and the dangerous slopes are poor, and the worst is the flat slopes;the thin soil layer has the highest ecological function index, followed by the medium level, and the worst is the thick level.(2)The ecological function indexes showed a decreasing trend in state-owned forest farms in Xiuning County,Jinsishan Forest Farm in Dongzhi County,Xishan Forest Farm in Huoqiu County, and Dagongshan Forest Farm. The ecological function indices were 0.615,0.581,0.467,0.450 in order. The reasons for the differences are mainly the presence of natural forests, nature reserves, different tree structure, landforms, slopes, and soil thickness.(3)Xiuning County State-owned Forest Farm,Xishan Forest Farm, and Dagongshan Forest Farm were all controlled by the middle-level landscape types of the ecological function index. The Jinsi Mountain Forest Farm had not a single prominent landscape and the overall landscape tended to be slightly homogenized because of the small difference between medium and good grades.Xiuning County State-owned Forest Farm,Xishan Forest Farm, and Dagongshan Forest Farm had low landscape heterogeneity, while Jinsi Mountain Forest Farm was relatively high.(4)According to the status of each forest farm, the tree species structure of each forest farm is improved and optimized, and the construction of reserve forests and public welfare forests is increased as much as possible. At the same time, considering the characteristics of each forest farm, the development of ecotourism and understory economic plants can be considered in the management of forest farms. In order to balance the landscape and ecological functions, priority should be given to ecological development.
