Direct seeding saves water and labor,but the planting depth is very different,which seriously affects the seedling rate.the extension of mesocotyl is helpful for the rapid and orderly emergence of the rice.The selection of rice resources for the extension of mesocotyl has been reported,but only a few of them have been extended to several centimeters,and the seedling rate is low,which seriously affects the production of rice.The purpose of this paper is to provide intermediate materials and theoretical basis for the breeding of long mesocotyl characteristics.The genetic locus and gene of the elongation of the mesocotyl and coleoptile length in rice are not clear.This material adopts the sequencing an average of 14 ×depts,from 89 countries and regions,rich genetic variation of 3K rice germplasm resources 1569(indica 1064,japonica 455).We selected 1538 accessions in water and 250 accessions in sand(219 same).The mesocotyl and the coleoptile length was measured in water and sand culture.The main results obtained after processing the phenotype data were as follows: 1)The positioning to 50 affect rice deep soil live mesocotyl QTL loci and 47 coleoptile QTL loci,mainly distributed in 7 chromosome,five loci for known sites,located on chromosome 1,7,9,respectively,including qML1 is detected in sand culture environment,qML7-8,qML7-12,qML7 to 14,qML9 hydroponic conditions to detect.2)According to the total sample,indica and japonica genome-wide association analysis,the results showed that in indica,japonica and positioning in the total sample to 32,15,38 sites,there are five loci to locate in the two groups,(indica/total: qCL2-1/qCL2?qCL8-1/qCL8-1?qCL8-2/ qCL8-2?qML6/qML6?qML11/qML11)),there are 5 locus as known site qML7-8,qML7-11,14,qML9,qML1 qML7-1.
