Inspection And Investigate On Immunization Antibody Qualification Rate Of Major Epidemics In Pig Farms Of Anhui Province

Porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome,swine fever,pseudorabies and foot-and-mouth disease have caused serious damage to the pig industry in China and caused huge economic losses.Vaccine immunization is the main method for disease prevention in large-scale pig farms in China.Among them,highly pathogenic blue ear disease,swine fever,and foot-and-mouth disease are compulsory immunization animal diseases in China.Through the vaccination of pigs to stimulate the production of protective antibodies against pathogen invasion and infection,to ensure the safety of farms,but immune failure phenomenon has occurred now and then.In order to understand the immune status and antibody levels of the major diseases in pig farms around the country,in this study,the enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA)method was used to 420 serum samples From 2016 to 2017 from some pig farms in Hefei,Anqing,Wuhu,Lu'an,Xuancheng,and Suzhou were sampled for porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome,swine fever,pseudorabies,and foot-and-mouth disease antibodi.The test results were reported below.A total of 420 samples of pig serum were contained,including 120 for Hefei,60 for Anqing,60 for Wuhu,60 for Lu'an,60 for Xuancheng,and 60 for Suzhou.(1)Overall antibody level detection results of the above six infectious diseases in Anhui Province: The total positive rate of porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome was 77.62%(326/420);The total positive rate of swine fever was 73.56%(309/420);The total positive rate of gB pseudorabies was 58.10%(244/420);The overall positive rate of foot-and-mouth disease was 83.10%(349/420).The levels of antibodies for compulsory immunization against infectious diseases in the three countries have reached the national 70% requirement for immunization.By comparison,the positive rate of foot-and-mouth disease is the highest,and that of the pseudorabies is the lowest.The results showed that the pseudorabies vaccine pseudorabies vaccine selected by swine farms in some areas of Anhui Province had a low immune effect or the aquaculture enterprises did not attach importance to the immune of swine pseudorabies.(2)In the comparison of different month's age,the positive rates of porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome,swine fever,pseudorabies,and foot-and-mouth disease serum antibodies less than 3 months of age,3 months to 10 months of age,and more than 10 months of age were: 91.11%(164/180),75.00%(139/180),57.78%(104/180)and 86.11%(155/180);72.50%(87/120),75.00%(90/120),58.33%(70/120)and 83.33%(100/120);62.50%(75/120),70.00%(84/120),58.33%(70/120),and 78.33%(94/120).The results showed that among the groups of pigs of different ages,the immunization levels of the three compulsory immunization epidemics of the pigs below 3 months of age were the highest.The main reason is that pig farms pay more attention to the immunization of piglets,and maternal antibodies from sows can also be obtained at the same time.(3)Among the regional comparisons,the positive rates of serum antibodies to swine reproductive and respiratory syndrome,swine fever,pseudorabies,and foot-and-mouth disease in Hefei,Wuhu,Anqing,Lu'an,Xuancheng,and Suzhou were: 95.00%(114/120),78.33%(94/120),64.17%(77/120)and 87.50%(105/120);88.33%(53/60),78.33%(47/60),60.00%(36/60)and 88.33%(53/60);70.00%(42/60),70.00%(42/60),53.33%(32/60)and 81.7%(49/60);55.00%(33 /60),70.00%(42/60),63.33%(38/60)and 75.00%(45/60);83.33%(50/60),68.33%(41/60),45.00%(27/60))and 83.3%(50/60);56.67%(34/60),71.67%(43/60),56.67%(34/60)and 78.33%(47/60).The results showed that the pig farms in some areas of Anhui Province did not pay attention to the immunity to infectious diseases and the immunization methods were not standardized,which led to the pigs' immunity levels were not up to standard or too low.(4)In comparing farms of different sizes,the positive rates of porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome,swine fever,swine pseudorabies,and foot-and-mouth disease serum antibodies in over 100 farms,100 to 500 farms,and over 500 farms were: 70.00%(84/120),70.00%(84/120),52.50%(63/120)and 80.83%(97/120);71.67%(86/120),74.17%(89/120),58.33%(70/120)and 81.67%(98/120);86.67%(156/180),75.56%(136/180),61.67%(111/180)and 85.56%(154/180).The immunity levels of the four immunity epidemics of the 500 or more farms were the highest.The main reason was that the large-scale breeding enterprises paid attention to the herd immunity and the immune methods were relatively standardized.However,small-scale aquaculture companies use low-immune vaccines and non-standardized immunization operations due to their contempt for immunization,as well as the lack of professional veterinary managers.(5)In the comparison of different seasons,the positive rates of serum antibodies to swine reproductive and respiratory syndrome,swine fever,pseudorabies,and foot-and-mouth disease in spring,summer,autumn and winter were: 60.56%(109/180),70.55%(127/180),57.78%(104/180)and 78.33%(141/180);90.42%(217/240),75.83%(182/240),58.33%(140/240)and 86.67%(208/240).As the pig farm chose to immunize the pigs in November,the immune status of the main diseases of the pigs in autumn and winter seasons was higher than that in spring and summer.In conclusion,the test results initially demonstrated the immune protection status of these epidemics in six pig populations in Anhui Province,which helped to understand the immune status of breeding and respiratory syndrome,swine fever,pseudorabies,and foot-and-mouth disease in Anhui Province.It provided scientific basis for the effective prevention and control of these four infectious diseases in pigs in Anhui Province.
