The traditional crop area statistics usually adopt the method of artificial statistics,time-consuming,laborious and accuracy is not high,the real time capability is not strong.Remote sensing is an important means of farmland information,the traditional agricultural remote sensing means mainly include remote sensing,satellite remote sensing and manned aircraft both remote sensing method with a long cycle and high cost can't meet the requirements of precision agriculture proposed,even hindered the development of precision agriculture and promotion.In recent years,along with the expansion of unmanned aerial vehicle(UAV)technology in the field of civil,unmanned aerial vehicle(UAV)become a new research hotspot in the field of agriculture,using unmanned aerial vehicle(UAV)as a remote sensing platform for low altitude remote sensing fields become a reasonable assumption.Unmanned aerial vehicle(UAV)with a flexible,simple manipulation,the advantages of low cost,safe and reliable,to some extent,it can get rid of the weather the uncontrollable factors of agricultural remote sensing.To quickly and accurately obtain the crop area,this paper based on the actual business requirements,make full use of remote sensing technology,combined with geographical information technology at the same time,with the main method is proposed based on PPS second-order spatial sampling a set of feasible area of remote sensing measuring method and process of crops.The results show that: 1)UAV remote sensing image measurement and statistical crop acreage methods have the characteristics of strong timeliness,high data accuracy,and accurate crop identification.2)This paper designed the technical route and operation method for drone aerial photography,ground control survey,establishment of orthophoto image database,image interpretation and crop acreage measurement,and conducted the experiment in Dayi Township,Hezhang County,Guizhou Province.Verification.3)For the initial operation,all operational procedures such as flight design and ground control measurement are required.Duplicate work is partially omitted to improve work efficiency.4)Completion of image interpretation of 13 administrative villages in Dayi Township,Hezhang County,and statistics of crop planting area by village and household.
