Mitochondrial Structure And Function Damaged Analysis Of XINHUA RSS Chicken

Mitochondria are known to play a very important role in biological growth,development,metabolism,senescence,disease,death and biological evolution.In this experiment,a large number of zombie chickens occurring in the short foot Xinghua broilers were used as the research specimens.The morphology and structure of the liver and leg muscle of zombie chickens,fat deposition,pathological changes,mitochondrial number and crest changes were analyzed.The results showed that as compared with normal chickens,zombie chickens and DW chickens had suffered serious damage to mitochondrial structure,which was featured by decrease in number,severe fat deposition,and compression deformation of mitochondria.Electron microscopic observation indicated that the ordered structure of crest of the zombie chicken was destroyed,the internal distinctive structure of the mitochondria was gradually damaged,the surface became rough,the wrinkles were obvious,the inside of mitochondria was inhomogeneous,and the crest observed on electron microscopic section became less or even disappeared.
