Eperythrozoonosis is a class zoonosis caused by the eperythrozoon suis ,which is characterized by anemia, fever and jaundice .This disease broke out in many places in China , resulting in huge economic losses economic losses for Pig Industry.A pair of primers were designed according to the 16SrRNA gene sequence of the strain Guangdong Eperythrozoon (AY492086). Using this pair primers , a 651bp fragment were amplified from genemic DNA of three isolates XXF01,XXF02 and XXF03 and sequenced. Homology analysis of 16SrRNA indicated that thei three solates showed 99.9% with Guangdong Eperythrozoon (AY492086). Through this pair , samples of swine Erythrocyte collected from different regions of Xinxiang were checked .The ressult exhibited that the positive rate was 91.7%. It was suggested that provided a reliable method for diagnosis of eperythrozoon suis. The best culture condition for eperythrozoon suis was selected by comparison effects among three culture medium RPMI-1640, DMEM, DMEM-F12 culture mediumwhich were added by different amount of the newborn bovine serum. Three types red blood cell from chicken, rabbit, pig were infected respectively by swine eperythrozoon suis, according to the established culture condition. The results suggested that the infection efficiency was the highest in RPMI-1640 medium supplemented with 40% of the newborn bovine serum. In vitro infection experiments, the infection efficiency of swine red blood cells was the highest and that of chicken red blood cell was the lowest , Infection rate of which was only 6.4% .But the infection rate of chicken red blood cells was increased when incubationncubation temperature was set at 38.5℃.Morphology of eperythrozoon suis was observed by Scanning Electron Microscopic. Bone Marrow Mesenchymal Stem Cells was isolated from chicken and infected by eperythrozoon suis, In order to study the possibility of eperythrozoons infecting Bone Marrow Mesenchymal Stem Cells.
