| The IPCC report of the UN Climate Change Professional Committee predicts that at the end of this century, the global surface temperature will rise to around 5.4°C.Wheat is one of the most important food crops in China, and temperature is a key factor affecting crop growth. Therefore, studying climate warming is of great significance to the growth and development of wheat.China is a large agricultural country. In the face of declining arable land and continuous population growth, the demand for wheat will continue to increase. Therefore,in order to cope with food security in the future,it is necessary to further understand and study the impact of climate warming on wheat yield and other physiological indicators, and to understand the adaptability of wheat to the environment under future climate change conditions. In this study,we collected a large number of literatures on the effect of warming experiments on wheat yield and other major physiological indicators. We used Meta-analysis to quantify the effect of warming of whole growth period on wheat yield and related physiological indices in different climatic regions. At the same time, the trend and degree of influence of the reproductive temperature increase of different warming ranges on wheat yield in different climatic regions were also determined and refined. The main results are as follows:1.In the analysis of the effect of warming at 0-3°C during the whole growth period on the wheat yield and growth period in China, the differences in response to wheat yield and growth period were studied according to the warming period, the warming range, and the climatic classification. The study found that continuous warming(0-3°C)during the whole growth period could increase wheat production in the subtropical monsoon region and the temperate monsoon region by 8.2% and 6.8%,respectively,while wheat production in the temperate continental climate zone decreased significantly by 10.2%.The duration of the whole wheat growth period in the subtropical monsoon region and the temperate continental climate region was significantly shortened by 3.3% and 4.0%.Among them, the reproductive growth period of wheat in the subtropical monsoon region was significantly increased by 8.7%.From the perspective of different climatic zones, the whole-day warming has no significant effect on China’s wheat yield, and the nighttime warming of 0-3°C in the monsoon region can significantly increase wheat production by9.9%.2.When studying the other typical physiological indices of wheat at 0-3°C during the whole growing period,it was found that the above-ground wheat biomass and plant height increased significantly by 7.1% and 6.1% respectively. The starch content in the subtropical monsoon region decreased significantly by 3.8%,but the protein content increased by 5.2%.Warming at 0-3°C for the whole day significantly increased the plant height of wheat by 5.7% during the mature period, the total biomass decreased significantly by 7.6%,and the aboveground biomass increasedsignificantly by 6.5%.Temperature increase of 0-3°C at night had no significant effect on the total biomass of wheat, but the aboveground biomass increased significantly by 6.4%.3.When the temperature during the reproductive period is 0-10°C,the regularity of the components of wheat yield and other factors is as follows: Warming at 0-5°C during the reproductive period significantly reduced wheat yield,1000-grain weight, kernels per spike and kernels numbers by 11.7%,7.4%,5.0% and 3.5%,respectively.Compared with 0-5°C during the reproductive period, the 5-10°C warming during the reproductive period has a more significant negative effect on wheat yield and its components, except for the number of wheat spikes. |
