Irrational human life style and production causes a series of environmental issues,moreover,limitations in scientific and technological development,lack of awareness in environmental protection and of sound and effective solutions,which further worsens the ecological environment.For instance,global warming,sea-level rising,soil erosion,river sedimentation and extinction of rare species are posing strong impacts on the lands we are living on.In addition,the incoming economic transformation,high rate of poverty in rural areas,as well as soil environmental pollution,water bodies pollution and contamination of the living environment are gradually driving a sound living and production environment away,which hinders the growth in the living standard and environment and restricts the sustainable economic development.By using the method of volume calculation,gathers Chongqing’s sixth,seventh and eighth forest carbon data,the figure of carbon reserves of the protection forest is 2.90×107t、5.02×106t、1.51×107t、1.42×105t、3.31×106t.and the economic forest,The living wood growing stock has been increasing,comparing with the data of the sixth,that of the seventh increases by 30.46 percent;comparing with the seventh,the eighth increases by 20.33 percent;the amount of the living wood growing stock of the sixth,seventh and the eighth is 3.06×105t;4.00×105t;5.06×105t respectively.With increasing of carbon reserve by each passing year,which proves that Chongqing has great potential in carbon sink afforestation.Therefore,planting carbon sink advantageous trees as Japan cedar,Lithocarpus cleistocarpus(Seem.)Rehd.et Wils,Schimasuperba and oaks,etc.according the carbon sink forests design and geographic locations,combining the economic forests with orchards to improve both carbon sequestration and economic gains and to achieve an ideal state.By analyzing overall plan for land utilization from 2006 to 2020,it shows that(a)the gardening area is increasing annually,the districts as Jiangjin District,Kaizhou District,Fengdu County take the main initiative with the area of 3.28×104 hectares,2.47×104 hectares,,and 2.03×104 hectares respectively.These mentioned above can be regarded as key districts and counties in soil conservation and afforestation.(b)The forest land area of Chongqing is increasing with each passing year,regions like Youyang County(3.1×105hectares),Wuxi County(2.69×105 hectares)and Fengjie County(2.27×105 hectares)are the key areas of conducting the project of carbon sink afforestation.comparing with other municipal district,these regions have the larger proportion and are the major sites for soil and water conservation.The design scheme of afforestation based on the overall land use planning of Chongqing city,planting bag Lithocarpus can create an annual stand in carbon sequestration value of 80.84 ×106 yuan;planting Machilus can create an annual 56.52 ×106 yuan;planting Cinnamomum longepaniculatum can create an annual 56.52 ×106 yuan;planting Chinese fir can create an annual 32.20×106 yuan;planting Cryptomeria fortunei can create an annual 32.20×106 yuan Masson;planting can create an annual 38.14 ×106 yuan;planting Schima superba can create an annual 56.52×106 yuan;planting oak can create an annual 56.52×106 yuan.You can get the packets Lithocarpus,Run Nan,Quercus,Cinnamomum Schima superba,the best combination,can create the largest annual carbon sequestration value.At the same time,the effect of soil and water conservation based on the consideration of carbon species selection package Lithocarpus glaber,and orange paint,collocation,can create an annual maximum solid carbon sequestration value of 1.62×107 yuan of oxygen release efficiency.In the design scheme of sequestration value.By comparing the overall land use planning of Chongqing with the design of Chongqing terrain slope factor,from the former,a conclusion can be drawn that the biological increment is 6.76×105 m3,and annual carbon increment is 1.96×105t,converting to economic returns of carbon trading,that is 3.16×106 Yuan;from the latter,the biological increment is 7.33×106 m3,carbon increment is 2.12×106t the return is 3.42×107 Yuan.Chongqing locates in the middle and upper reaches of the Yangtze River,in which the forests’ ecological and soil and water conservation function have great significance to the whole the Yangtze River basin.Considering Chongqing’s actual condition,rattan grass and shrub species have been selected,Among them,there are 74 kinds of shrubs and 35 species of herbs.The study aims to provide references for the selection of afforestation in Chongqing and enrich the current afforestation theory in the specific area.
