The effects of fructooligosaccharides and astragalus polysaccharides on growth,immunity and anti-stress ability of Hybrid Snakehead(average weight:105.52±0.05g)were studied.astragalus polysaccharides(1.5g/kg),astragalus polysaccharides(1.1 g/kg)+fructooligosaccharides(2.5g/kg),astragalus polysaccharides(0.7g/kg)+ fructooligosaccharides(5g/kg),astragalus polysaccharides(0.3g/kg)+ fructooligosaccharides(7.5g/kg),fructooligosaccharides(10g/kg)were added to the basal diet(control group D1,protein 41.24%,fat 7.21%)respectively.Feed(D2,D3,D4,D5,D6)was cultured in a cage(1.0 × 1.0 × 1.0 m)for 60 days.The experimental results are as follows.1.The effects of fructooligosaccharides and astragalus polysaccharides on growth performance,digestive enzyme activity and body index of hybrid snakehead were as follows:the final weight,weight gain and specific growth rate of hybrid snakehead fed with D2,D3 and D4 groups were significantly higher than those of control group(P?0.05);however,the feed of each group on hybrid snakehead was significantly higher than that of control group(P?0.05).The results of digestive enzymes showed that the activities of gastric lipase,intestinal lipase,pepsin and intestinal protease of hybrid snakehead fed with D4 group were significantly higher than those of control group(P?0.05),but fructooligosaccharide and astragalus polysaccharide had significant effects on gastric amylase and intestinal starch of hybrid snakehead.Enzyme activity had no significant effect(P?0.05).The fatness and visceral index of hybrid snakehead fed on D4 group were significantly higher than those of control group(P?0.05).However,fructooligosaccharide and astragalus polysaccharide had no significant effect on liver index and spleen index(P?0.05).In addition,compared with the control group,D4 group fed significantly increased the index of hybrid snakehead.The content of crude protein and crude fat in muscle of snakehead were not affected by fructooligosaccharides and astragalus polysaccharides addition(P?0.05).2.The effects of fructooligosaccharides and astragalus polysaccharides on the immune function of hHybrid snakehead were as follows.The levels of serum lysozyme,acid phosphatase,immunoglobulin M,complement C3 and complement C4 of hybrid snakehead fed with D2 and D4 groups were significantly higher than those of control group(P<0.05).The plasma total protein content of hybrid snakehead fed with D4 group was significantly higher than that of the control group(P?0.05),and the survival rate of hybrid snakehead fed with D4 and D6 groups was significantly increased(P<0.05).3.The effects of fructooligosaccharides and astragalus polysaccharides on the anti-ammonia stress ability of Hybrid Snakehead were as follows:the content of malondialdehyde in blood of control group was significantly higher than that of experimental group(P<0.05).The activity of glutathione peroxidase in blood of hybrid snakehead was significantly increased by fructooligosaccharides and astragalus.The total antioxidant capacity of blood in D2 and D4 groups was significantly increased(P?0.05).
