1.Effects of PNZ supplementation on the growth performance,organ index and blood biochemical index of weanling pigletsThe experiment was conducted to explore the effects of attapulgite nano zinc oxide on the growth performance and blood biochemical indexes of weaned piglets.The results showed that:1)Compared with the CON,the average daily feed intake(ADFI)and average daily gain(ADG)of the LPNZ were significantly increased(P<0.05),and the ADG of the LPNZ was significantly higher than that of the ANT,ZO and NZO(P<0.05).2)The diarrhea rate in the LPNZ was significantly lower than that of the CON and ANT(P<0.05).The diarrhea index in the LPNZ was significantly lower than that of the CON,ANT and NZO(P<0.05).3)The pancreatic organ index of the LPNZ and MPNZ was significantly higher than that of the NZO(P<0.05).4)Compared with the CON,the total cholesterol(TC)and triglyceride(TG)levels in the MPNZ were significantly lower(P<0.05),and the high-density lipoprotein(HDL)levels were significantly increased(P<0.05).2.Effects of PNZ supplementation on the physical barrier function of weaned pigsThis study was conducted to investigate the effects of attapulgite clay adsorbed nano-ZnO supplementation on the physical barrier function of weaned pigs.The results showed that:1)Compared with other treatments,the structure of small intestine villi and microvilli in PNZ was more complete,neatly arranged,and the degree of damage was low.2)In the jejunum,the crypt depth of the LPNZ was significantly lower than that of the CON,ANT and NZO(P<0.05);compared with the CON and NZO,the jejunum cryptotype of the LPNZ was significantly increased(P<0.05).In addition,the ileum villus width and surface area were significantly increased in the ZO and LPNZ compared with the ANT and NZO(P<0.05).3.Effect of PNZ supplementation on immune barrier function in weaned pigletsThis study was conducted to investigate the effects of attapulgite nano zinc oxide supplementation on immune barrier function of weaned pigs.The results showed that:1)Compared with the CON,ANT and NZO,the addition of PNZ to the diet significantly increased the number of goblet cells in the small intestinal mucosa(P<0.05).2)The levels of TNF-a and IL-1? in jejunum mucosa of PNZ were significantly lower than those in ANT and NZO(P<0.05).Compared with other treatments,sgIA content in jejunum mucosa of LPNZ increased significantly(P<0.05).Compared with ANT,ZO and NZO,IL-4 levels in LPNZ of ileal mucosa were significantly increased(P<0.05).3)Compared with CON and ANT,the addition of PNZ in diet significantly decreased the expression of TNF-?,TLR4 and MyD88 mRNA in small intestinal mucosa(P<0.05),and increased mRNA expression of IL-10,MUC2 and ZO1 in small intestinal mucosa(P<0.05).4.Effect of PNZ supplementation on intestinal microbial barrier function of weaned pigletsThis study was to investigate the effect of attapulgite clay adsorbed nano-ZnO supplementation on intestinal microbial barrier function of weaned pigs.The results showed that:1)Compared with the ANT,the PNZ can improve the a diversity of the jejunum and ileum microbial flora,and increase the abundance and diversity of intestinal contents.According to the principal component analysis,the structure of the CON in the jejunum was significantly different from other treatments.2)In phylum,the abundance of Fusarium and Tenericutes in PNZ was significantly lower than that in ZO(P<0.05).3)In genus,The abundance of Clostridium in PNZ was significantly lower than that of the CON and ANT(P<0.05).According to the results,the addition of PNZ to the diet of weaned piglets can improve the routine blood index and organ growth of piglets and promote the development of intestinal villi,increase the content of goblet cells,immunoglobulin and anti-inflammatory cytokines,and down-regulated the mRNA expression of pro-inflammatory cytokine in intestinal mucosa to improve intestinal immune function.In addition,it can also improve the abundance and diversity of intestinal flora,reduce the number of harmful bacteria,protect intestinal mucosal development and intestinal flora stability,and thus jointly regulate intestinal and immune system development,relieve weaning stress and reduce diarrhea of weaned pigs.
