Computer simulation of crop growth and development(called crop simulation)is a new technology that has developed rapidly over the past 40 years.It is based on crop physiology and ecology principle,the system analysis method and computer technology into the crop science,through the experimental data obtained in the process of crop growth and development of theoretical summary and abstract data,and then establish the dynamic mathematical model,with the rapid development of computer technology,virtual plant technology has become an important content of modern agriculture.At present,domestic and foreign scholars have made a lot of progress in the research of virtual growth of crops such as wheat,barley and corn,but the research on virtual visualization of potato is less.Potato is one of the most important food crops in the world.The growth of potato stem and leaf is closely related to the growth of underground potato tubers.Under normal conditions,the top of the main stem of the potato is now green,which means the tip of the stolon is expanding.When the main stem of the potato begins to flower,this means that most of the stem tips have formed apricot sized tubers,followed by the flowering period when the tubers expand rapidly.At the end of the flowering period of the potato,the parietal leaves of the plant are flat,indicating that the plant has stopped growing and the old leaves at the base are obviously aging and falling off.Potato tuber yield has reached 70% to80%,tuber size is basically fixed,followed by dry matter accumulation,tuber continues to gain weight.Therefore,this paper chooses to model the potato stem and leaf.By making a lifelike model of the growth process of the potato stem and leaf on the computer,it can timely predict the development status of the potato stem,timely remove branches and branches,and remove diseased and weak branches.Increased ventilation and light transmission,reduced disease,increased potato yield and quality.According to the existing modeling theories and tools,combined with the actual modeling requirements of current plant modeling,the analysis and comparison of various aspects show that the random parameter L system is mature and flexible,more suitable for plant modeling.In order to create a meaningful potato model,a method based on the fractal random parameter L system is selected to model by improving the production rules.This article through three steps to implement the modeling,the first is to extract the characteristics of potato stalk data,quantitative analysis of the current measurement data,collect potato stalk used in ecological modeling parameters,will join the improvement after the parameterized parameter L system,combined with the potato stem growth equation(e.g.,Logistics equation),through the L system make the virtual plant parameters and the organic combination of plant growth characteristics are realized,L-system with stochastic parameters method is used to approximate the potato growth process of a certain characteristics(such as the length of the stem)continuously changes with the dynamic change of time,It embodies the characteristics of continuous and random growth of potato stem and realizes the simulation of potato stem growth.Finally,when simulating the leaves,the geometric shape of the potato leaves is generated by using the idea of deformation,and the initial contour of the leaves is defined by the plane rectangle parameters.By using triangular waves of different amplitudes and frequencies to summarize the shape of protruding blades different methods of easy control for different grades of veins are proposed.To realize the visual automatic modeling of veins.Through the above modeling method to construct a good awareness of the potato stem model,visualization of potato plants to achieve growth and development of potato varieties regulation mechanism research,digital and field cultivation management informationization is of great importance,and for the teaching and popularizing agricultural science and technology in the field of virtual scene to provide plant model,and provides reference for other plant modeling concepts.
