Watermelon is a kind of important fruit crops,pulp has high nutritional value,not only should have clear heat,diuresis effect of blood pressure,are very popular with all age groups people and small fruit type watermelon is a kind of small weight,easy to carry the watermelon varieties,mainly grown in the greenhouse is more,so the continuous cropping lead to many diseases,serious impact on the yield and quality of watermelon at present study found that most appear in greenhouse is water melon powdery mildew and watermelon fusarium wilt.In order to further cultivate new varieties,the stronger varieties bred for some disease resistance,the test of Shanxi academy of agricultural sciences to provide 73 small fruit watermelon germplasm resources for various periods field fruit agronomic characters observation records and comprehensive quality investigation,analysis of the characters and the genetic diversity,quality and quantity at the same time disease nursery cultivation,appropriate management and under disease resistance identification,and do resistance correlation analysis,in order to breeding good comprehensive quality,strong resistance varieties of watermelon germplasm resources,at the same time for the next watermelon fusarium wilt and provide evidences for prevention and control of powdery mildew.The results of identification of resistance to watermelon fusarium wilt and powdery mildew showed that the germplasm resources of small fruit watermelon in this experiment had strong overall resistance to watermelon fusarium wilt and weak overall resistance to powdery mildew under the condition of disease nursery cultivation.In this experiment,five quality traits and four quantitative traits of small-fruit watermelon germplasm resources were investigated and genetic diversity analysis was carried out.The results showed that small-fruit watermelon germplasm resources were mainly round,fruit skin color was green,fruit covered with rack,covered with dark green color,and fruit flesh color was red.In terms of quantitative genetic traits,the analysis found that the variation range of peel thickness and central sugar was twice as large asthe mean value,and the variation range of fruit weight and fruit type index was relatively small.In terms of the coefficient of variation,the coefficient of variation of peel thickness was the largest 38%,and the coefficient of variation of central sugar was the smallest 9%.In terms of the diversity index,the fruit weight diversity index was higher 1.99,while the center sugar diversity index was lower 1.23.The results showed that there was no significant correlation between the degree of resistance and the agronomic characters,fruit quality and microscopic morphology.The microstructure of stem base of watermelon was related to watermelon fusarium wilt.The number of stomata and bristles in leaves was significantly correlated with watermelon powdery mildew under the condition of ?=0.01,the number of stomata was positively correlated,and the number of bristles was negatively correlated.
