In terms of differences in biological characteristics of fat deposition in different tail sheep, different tail sheep were selected. They included small-tailed Han sheep,Lanzhou fat-tailed sheep and ou la sheep. They were slaughtered.Body size index, slaughter performance, meat quality and fat deposition characteristics of different tail sheep were compared.Gas chromatography, tissue section staining and real-time fluorescence quantitative methods were used to compare fatty acid composition, adipose characteristics and gene expression related to fat deposition in different tail sheep and to preliminarily clarify the differences in fat deposition, fatty acid composition, fat characteristics and gene expression related to fat deposition in different tail sheep. It provides a certain theoretical basis for controlling sheep body fat deposition and improving sheep production efficiency and meat quality. The main results of this study were as follows:1.The body length, live weight and carcass weight of Lanzhou fat-tailed sheep were significantly larger than those of small-tailed Han sheep and ou la sheep(P < 0.05).The slaughter rate and net meat rate of Lanzhou fat-tailed sheep and ou la sheep sheep were significantly higher than those of small-tailed Han sheep(P < 0.05).For comparison the meat quality of the three tail sheep,it was found that the shearing force of Lanzhou fat-tailed sheep and ou la sheep was significantly greater than that of small-tailed Han sheep(P < 0.05).The ratio of tail fat index, total fat index and fat meat of Lanzhou fat-tailed sheep was significantly higher than that of small-tailed Han sheep and ou la sheep. The perirenal index and abdominal fat index of Lanzhou fat-tailed sheep and small-tailed Han sheep were significantly lower than those of ou la sheep sheep(P < 0.05).2.The C14:0 and C16:0 contents of perirenal fat and omental fat,and the C18:0 contents of perirenal fat, tail fat and muscle tissue had certain difference among the three tail sheep. The contents of C16:1 in muscle tissue,C18:1n9c in omentum and subcutaneous fat,and C18:2n6c in perirenal and caudal fat were different among sheep of different caudal types. For SFA content of small-tailed Han sheep,Lanzhou fat-tailed sheep and ou la sheep, perirenal fat and omental fat were significantly higher than subcutaneous fat and tail fat(P < 0.05).PUFA content and P:S value in muscle tissue were significantly higher than those in fat tissue(P < 0.05).3.For the comparison of the sizes of different tail sheep, the adipose cells in different parts of ou la sheep were significantly larger than those of small-tailed Han sheep and Lanzhou fat-tailed sheep(P < 0.05).Fat cells in the tail of sheep of the same tail type were significantly larger than those in muscle tissue(P < 0.05).There was no significant difference in PLIN1 expression between the same parts of different tail sheep(P > 0.05).The expression of perirenal fat in small-tailed Han sheep and ou la sheep was significantly higher than that in muscle tissue(P < 0.05).The expression levels of PLIN2 were different between the same parts of different tail sheep And it was also different between different parts of the same sheep. The expression of PLIN3 in different parts of small-tailed Han sheep was significantly higher than that of Lanzhou fat-tailed Han sheep and ou la sheep(P < 0.05).The tail fat of small-tailed Han sheep and Lanzhou fat-tailed sheep was significantly higher than that of perirenal fat and muscle tissue(P < 0.05).
