The seed metering device is the core component of the seeding machine,and its performance directly affects the seeding quality.The existing peanut seeding machine has higher requirements on the shape and size of the seed,and the versatility of the seed metering device is low,which makes it difficult to achieve precision and quantitative seeding.A certain amount of seed waste.In order to solve the problem that the existing peanut seed metering device has poor adaptability to seed size,this paper designs the adjusting piece on the basis of the ordinary inner filling type hole wheel type seeding device,and adjusts the size of the seed nest through the adjusting piece to adapt to the size.A seed that achieves the purpose of precise quantitative seeding.The main research results are as follows:(1)In order to reveal the influence of the physical properties of peanut seeds on the structure and seeding performance of the seed,the physical properties of seeds.Such as three-dimensional size,size classification,water content,hundred-grain weight and friction characteristics were measured,the test subject is Yueyou43 growing in Guangdong Province.The three-dimensional clustering analysis of the seeds was carried out by SPSS software.According to the analysis results,the intermediate seeds with the length of15mm-17 mm were selected as the experimental research objects.(2)In order to determine the main factors affecting seed performance and the best combination of operating parameters,this paper carried out the performance test of seed metering.The effect of rotate speed of seed plate,length of filling hole and seed size on performance of metering device was analyzed with single factor experiment quadratic orthogonal rotation combination experiment.Single seed rate,repeat rate and omitting rate were selected as the performance indexes.The results have shown that the optimal range of values for the three test factors was determined to be the rotate speed of seed piate: 30r/min-45 r/min,the length of filling hole: 8 mm-12 mm,and the seed length: 15 mm-17 mm.and the length of filling hole is the main factor affecting the test index,followed by the seed size and the rotate speed of seed plate.when the rotate speed of seed plate was 35.22r/min,the length of filling hole was 8.81 mm,seed size was 15.41 mm,the Performance was the best,which leaded to the single seed rate was 95.64%,repeat rate was 2.63% and omitting rate was 1.73%.The seed metering device meets the requirements for precise seeding.(3)Field trials have shown.The flatness of the surface the smoothness of the machine have a very significant impact on the quality of the seeding.
