With the development of ecological civilization,the forest is the main force of ecological protection.At the same time,the reliable ecological monitoring and evaluation of forest is highly valued around the world increasingly.However,the problem of unstable communication quality in forest area has been plaguing the development of forest ecological monitoring technology.This thesis uses"Internet of Things" technology,satellite communications and inertial navigation technology,which can sent the current forest situations(pests,deforestation,forest fires,geographic information etc.)to the relevant staff,and which play an increasingly important role in prevention of forest fire,pests and diseases,deforestation,as well as forest resources survey.This study completed the following major work:First,the analysis and design of Beidou satellite and Iridium communication protocol,and the use of inertial navigation principle to achieve communication transmission function of high stability and positioning function of high reliability and accuracy.Second,system hardware design:In this study,the hardware of forest management handheld device consists of the satellite communication module,the data acquisition module of environmental parameters,the main control module,and the inertial navigation module.It can collect fire environmental information(CO,C02,air temperature and humidity,smoke,etc.),with or without pest conditions,with or without deforestation,specific geographical location and other information,and then communicate over long distances through the satellite with these datas.After completing the hardware design of this four parts,all hardware modules are integrated;the hardware compatibility and structure compatible design of the entire board is completed.Third,system software development:the design of the sensor data acquisition board and the software design of the entire satellite communication module,which can response the forest environment in time.In order to improve the man-machine interaction,a set of screen control software is designed,and touch corresponding pictures in the screen to realize the previous sensor data acquisition and later data integration,packing,point-to-point transmission,inertial navigation and positioning.Fourth,system experiment verification:A series of simulated fire tests were carried out to collect CO,C02,air temperature and humidity,smoke parameters;and the experimental datas and parameters were analyzed and validated.In addition,the multi-point test of satellite communication and communication stability were implemeted,so as to verify the feasibility and accuracy of inertial navigation and positioning in extreme cases.In summary,our designs can ensure real-time communication and high-quality stability of information exchange for forest area,and provide a reliable,efficient and practical management equipment for intelligent forestry.
