In order to estimate effect of mixture between plant growth regulator(PGR)and strong seedling fertilizer on the seedling quality,yield and quality of rice.Rice cultivar(Long jing 31 and Longdao21)in experiment was chose as material.The five kinds of mixed seedling strengthening agent between plant growth regulators(Polyclobutrazole(MET),Smutagen(ABA),naphthalene acetic acid(NAA),pirimethamine(DPC)and Methyl-1-(3,3-dimenthyl-2-oxobutyl)-1H-1,2,4-triazole-3-ca-rboxylate(CGR3)and strong seedling fertilizer in experiment as treatment,and the strong seedling fertilizer without PGR in experiment was control.Effect of mixed seedling strengthening agent in seedling period on morphology of seedling,accumulation and distribution of biomass and character of physical activity of rice and yield and quality of rice in maturity was researched.The result indicted that in the following:1.Expect CGR3,the above-ground plant morphology of seedlings for Long jing 31 by using all mixed seedling strengthening agent was significantly regulated,which included plant height was reduced and stem base width was increased.The plant height of cultivar(Long jing 21)by using the ABA and NAA was increased.However,plant height of cultivar(Long dao 21)by using mixed seedling strengthening agent except ABA and NAA was decreased.The plant height and stem basal width of cultivar by using MET were significantly different compared with CK treatment.2.The root length of rice seedling by using all mixed seedling strengthening agents,except NAA and DPC was increased.Especially,the effect of ABA in all treatments on root length was the best.Root diameter of two rice varieties by using NAA and CGR3 was also increased.Although the root surface area and root volume of two varieties was not increased by using MET and DPC,it was increased by other mixed seedling strengthening agents.The root surface area and root volume of two varieties by using ABA and CGR3 was significantly increased compared with CK treatment.3.Total biomass and root biomass ratio of rice seedlings for all treatments,except DPC and NAA,were increased.and the total biomass of Long dao 21 by using CGR3 treatments were significantly higher than CK treatments.The seedling plumpness and strong seedling index of Long jing 31 and Long dao 21 treated by all other regulators(except ABA)were higher than CK.The plumpness and strong seedling index of MET treatment reached the maximum value for each treatment.The root-to-shoot ratios of Long jing 31 treated with NAA and Longjing21 treated with MET,ABA and DPC were significantly higher than CK.In addition,there was no significant difference between the root-to-shoot ratios of other treatments and CK.4.The net photosynthetic rate of varieties of seedlings MET and ABA treatment was increased.The net photosynthetic rate of MET treatment was significantly higher than CK.The inter cellular CO2 concentration and stomatal conductance of two varieties treated with NAA were significantly higher than CK.transpiration rates of two cultivars by using MET was significantly increased.the accumulation of sucrose and starch in leaves and roots for all treatments,especially MET and ABA treatment,was increased.5.The effect of MET on SOD activity of seedlings was better than CK.The CAT activity in leaves and POD activity in roots of Long dao 21 seedlings treated by different treatments were higher than CK.the transport of soluble protein content from leaves to roots of Long dao 21 by all treatments(except CGR3)was significantly regulated.Proline content in leaves and roots of two cultivars treated with MET,ABA and CGR3 was higher than CK.All treatments significantly increased proline accumulation in leaves of Long dao 21.6.The total biomass of Long jing 31 at tillering stage for all the regulators was increased.The effects of MET and CGR3 treatments on total above ground biomass and biomass accumulation of organs at different growth stages of the two cultivars were better than those of other treatments.Total above ground biomass of Long jing 31 treated with MET,DPC and CGR3 and Longdao 21 treated with ABA was significantly higher than CK at tillering stage,while there was no significant difference between other treatments and CK.The yields of Long dao 21 treated with MET and CGR3 were higher than those of CK.Meanwhile,the yields of Long dao 21 treated with MET and CGR3 were higher than those of CK.All treatments increased the brown rice rate of Long jing 31.The milled rice rate,brown rice rate,head rice rate and amylose content of the two varieties treated with MET were higher than those of CK.The appearance quality of all treatments was lower than CK.The chalky grain rate and malignant whiteness of Long jing 31 treated with CGR3 and Long jing 31 and Long dao 21 treated with ABA were significantly higher than CK.In conclusion,the mixture of MET and strong seedling fertilizer in the all mixed seedling strengthening agents was the best for improving seedling quality and promoting rice yield and improving the processing quality and nutritional quality of two varieties of rice.
