Euzophera pyriella is the lepidoptera and omnivorous pest.It was discovered in the late 1980 s,and mainly damaged for pears, apples, jujubes, poplars, etc, which the bergamot pear and gray jujube are seriously damaged.Observation on the reproductive system of insect pests and adults, and explore the dynamics of the population of the Euzophera pyriella, this study reported the reproductive biology characters of the developmental period endogenous reproduction of reproductive biological characteristics and systemic and ovarian development,etc.1.Study on developmental duration of experimental population of Euzophera pyriellaUnder the conditions of photoperiod 14L:10H,27? and humidity 75%,the developmental duration, body weight and mortality of eggs, larvae and pupae of Pyrus orientalis were studied with artificial diet. The results showed that the hatching rate of eggs laid indoors by field trapping was between 78.81% and 95.59%,with an average of 89.71% and the development duration of 5-6 days;the larval average development duration was 31.5 days, the shortest 18 days and the longest 48 days;the average average weight of the larvae reared artificially was 32.4 mg;the average pupation rate of the mature larvae reared artificially was 22.4 mg;the average pupation rate of the larvae reared artificially was 88.40%,the highest was 94.00%,and the lowest was 80.00%.During the period of 7-8 days, the pupa weight in artificial rearing was 14-23 mg,which was significantly heavier than that in the field(13-17 mg);the adult emergence rate was 78.84%,the highest was 90.00%,the lowest was 72.00%.The sex ratio of artificial rearing and field population was close to 1:1,and the adult life span was mostly concentrated in 9-12 days, with an average of 10.5 days, the female adult weight was 14-17 mg,and the male adult weight was 8-11 mg.The net multiplicationrate(R0)was 7.96,the average generation cycle(T)was 47.87 days, the intrinsic growth rate(rm)was 0.04,the circumferential growth rate(lambda)was 1.04 and the population doubling time(t)was 16.00.2.Study on the internal reproductive system of Euzophera pyriellaIt was found that the internal reproductive system of male worms consisted of testis, two seminal vesicles, vas deferens, ejaculatory ducts, two accessory glands and the tail end of single ejaculatory duct by dissecting the internal reproductive system of male and female adults. The testis is a pair of testicles, which are nearly spherical. It is connected with two seminal vesicles through the vas deferens. The lower end of the seminal vesicle is connected with the front end of the adnexal gland and the middle part of the ejaculatory duct. The front end of the ejaculatory duct is connected with the front end of the adnexal gland. The lower end of the ejaculatory duct is connected with the single ejaculatory duct and the end of the single ejaculatory duct is connected with The female's internal reproductive system consists of 8 ovaries,2 fallopian tubes, middle fallopian tubes, fertilization sacs, mating sacs and longer accessory glands. The ovaries were divided into two groups. The upper end of each ovarian tube was connected to the suspension, and the lower end of the lateral fallopian tube was jointly connected to the middle fallopian tube. The end of the middle fallopian tube was connected to the developed pear-shaped mating sac, fertilization sac and accessory gland sac.The mating sac and fertilization sac were all connected to the seminiferous duct, and the accessory gland sac was connected to the accessory gland.3.Development of the internal reproductive system organs of the different day-old adults of Euzophera pyriellaThe changes of reproductive organs of 1-9 day-old adults were observed by dissecting the reproductive system of the male and female adults. The results showed that the number of mature ovarian eggs fluctuated slightly in different age groups, and the number of mature eggs was the highest(70.00±2.65 eggs/female)on the fourth day, while the number of immature eggs did not change significantly with the increase of age(30.29-45.33 eggs/female);the length and width of ovarian tubules did not change significantly with the increase of age,the average length of ovarian tubules was 3.58±0.62 mm,and the width of ovarian tubules was about(0.33±0.02 mm).The length and width of the fallopian tube did not change much,The length of the fallopian tube was the longest on the 7th day(0.59+0.08mm),the width of the lateral fallopian tube was between 0.30 and 0.42 mm;the length and width of the mating sac were 1.16±0.15 mm and 0.56±0.05 mm respectively;with the increase of age,the length and width of the spermatocyst firstly increased and then decreased, the length and width of the initial spermatocyst were 0.79±0.18 mm and 0.90±0.13 mm respectively, and the width of the 9th day was only 0.59+0±.43 mm.The length and width of the ejaculatory duct first increased and then decreased with the increase of age,but the fluctuation were not significant, the length were 1.38-1.69 mm and the width were 0.20-0.24 mm;with the increase of age the length and width of the seminal vesicle and the length of the accessory gland firstly decreased and then increased, and changed from 0.52-0.71 mm,0.23-0.32 mm and 5.16-6.62 mm,respectively;the length of the single ejaculatory duct was between 5.73-7.44 mm.
