In order to compare the effects of dry seed and bud seed sowing on the growth,yield and quality of rice in cold rice seedling bed of Heilongjiang,explore the feasibility of dry seed sowing technique in rice seedbed,then compare the benefit of dry seed and bud seed sowing,seek the method with higher economic benefit to raise seedling.The experiment was carried out in three locations in Bawuliu Farm,Daxing Farm and Erdaohe Farms in Heilongjiang Province.The tested rice varieties were selected from the main planting area with the largest planting area.Each test site has two treatments: dry seed sowing and bud seed sowing,each treatment was repeated 3 times,and the area of each repeated transplanting was not less than 300m~2.The growth and development data of rice was investigated and calculated during the whole growth period and the input and output data in the production process.The results showed that:(1)The soil moisture had an effect on the emergence rate of the two sowing methods.When the soil water content was above 65%,there was no difference in the emergence rate of dry seed sowing and bud seed sowing.When the soil water content was below 50%,the seedling emergence time of dry seed seeding was significantly delayed.If dry seed sowing seedlings are used,the soil water content should be above 65% to ensure the water demand of seed emergence.The higher the amount of sowing,the lower the rate of seedling formation of rice.According to the requirements of machine insertion,the amount of sowing should be 5kg/667m~2.(2)When the emergence temperature was above 25℃,there was no difference in the emergence rate of the two sowing methods,and the seedling rate of dry seed sowing was higher at 20℃ or lower.Under the same sowing conditions,the seedling emergence rate of dry seed sowing was higher than that of seed sowing.If dry seed sowing seedling was used,it should be better to reduce the seeding rate by 5%.(3)Under the same seedling conditions,the seedling emergence time of dry seeds was 2-3 days later than that of germination.There was no significant difference in the growth process of seedlings between the two seedlings before transplanting.The seedling quality of dry seed sowing was signif icantly better than that of germination.The tiller number of dry seed sowing treatment was higher than that of corresponding bud seed sowing treatment.The difference of tiller number is the embodiment of seedling robustness.(4)The theoretical yields of dry early sowing and medium sowing dry seed treatment were slightly higher than those of germination,and the theoretical yield of late sowing dry seed treatment was slightly lower than that of germination.If dry seed sowing was used,the sowing date of dry seed sowing should be 2-3 days earlier than the germination.(5)There was no signif icant difference in the quality of dry seed sowing and germination seeding rice under timely seeding conditions.The chalkiness rate of rice treated with late sowing increased,but other data showed no signif icant difference.(6)The comparative net benefit of dry seeded live treatment was 2.7 yuan/667 m~2 higher than that of bud seed sowing,and the time cost of sowing seed sowing was 0.4 h/667 m~2 higher than that of dry seed.
