Low Power Wide Area Network(LPWAN)technology makes longer distance communication and lower power consumption realizable.LORA(Long Range,LORA)belongs to LPWAN communication technology.It is a wireless communication method which is proposed by Semtech,based on spread spectrum technology.An IoT agricultural environment data monitoring system was developed combining traditional agricultural environmental data monitoring technology with LORA wireless communication technology,which is characterized by long-distance,low-cost and low power consumption.The network model of the IoT agricultural environment monitoring system includes sensing layer,transport layer,listening layer,and application layer.The transport layer adopts LORA wireless communication technology.The sensing layer is an agricultural environmental data monitor that can monitor eight kinds of environmental parameters including air temperature and humidity,soil temperature and humidity,soil salinity,soil conductivity,light intensity and C02 concentration etc..The listening layer refers to the LORA gateway,which is responsible for monitoring each sensor data and connecting the data to the host computer software.An agricultural environmental data monitoring system was developed on the basis of the above structures.The specific research contents are as below:(1)LORA wireless unvarnished transmission module:The communication core component is SX1278 radio frequency chip.The module makes the bidirectional data unvarnished transmission realizable from serial port to LORA,embeds the wireless unvarnished transmission module into the agricultural environment data monitor and the wireless data acquisition gateway,which can improve product development efficiency.(2)Agricultural Environmental Data Monitor:Choose 8 environmental parameters having a lot of things to do with crop growth,through analyzing the key parameters affecting crop growth,and the working status of each sensor under the real time control of MCU to realize automatic collection of environmental data.(3)Wireless data acquisition gateway:By the method of star shape network polling communication,the data collection of multiple agricultural environment data monitors is achieved,and the collected data is send to the upper computer by the gateway.The agricultural environmental data monitoring system designed in this paper was tested in outdoor farmland environment.The experimental results showed that the whole system worked stably with good wireless transmission reliability,which could effectively improve the agricultural production management level.Thanks to the research on this topic,it is concluded that LORA communication technology has a promising application prospect in wireless sensor design and smart agriculture. |
