With the implementation of Potato Main Grain strategy,potato grading has become an important part of improving the economic value of potato.Designing a widely used potato grading equipment to replace the traditional manual grading work is an urgent problem to be solved.Aiming at the existing problems,a nylon brush-roller potato cleaning and grading machine was designed,and the designing and working principles of each mechanism were expounded.Combined with theoretical analysis and actual work conditions,three influenced factors and two evaluation indicators of potato grading test were determined.A three-factor and six-level uniform experimental study was carried out.The partial least squares regression analysis method in DPS software is used to analyze the test results.The positive and negative effects and main orders of the influence factors and interaction items on each evaluation index are obtained.Using MATLAB software to draw the response surface map between the two evaluation indicators and each influencing factor,observe the changing laws between each factor and the evaluation index.The test results showed that when the feeding motor speed is equal to 56r/min,the roller group rotating speed is equal to 80r/min,and the roller group inclination angle is equal to 1°,the comprehensive evaluation index obtains the optimal value,and the grading accuracy rate is equal to 82.02%.The grading work efficiency is equal to 8.38t/h.The research provides a reliable basis for the subsequent development of the potato cleaning and grading machine.
