The purpose of this experiment was to study the rational and effective utilization of Leymus chinensis,millet grass and mango wheat straw in Thoroughbred diet.Twenty-one healthy adult trend horses with similar body weight,age and body size were randomly divided into 7 groups with 3 horses in each group:trial group I,trial group ?,trial group III,trial group IV,trial group V,trial group VI,trial group VII(under the same basal diet,each trial group was fed with Leymus chinensis,millet grass,mango grass,Leymus chinense straw,mannwort grass valley grass,Aegilops tenuiformis without awnless brook straw)in each trial group respectively under the same condition of basic diet A 21-day feeding trial will be carried out,of which the pre-trial period is 14 days,and the trial period is 7 d.Fecal and feed samples were collected,and the contents of DM,CP,NDF,and ADF were measured,and the digestibility was calculated.The main results are followed:(1)The content of CP in the trial group ? and the trial group ? was higher than that in the trial group ?(P<0.01),which was 4.66%and 6.96%higher respectively,and the content of NDF and ADF was significantly lower than that of test group ?(P<0.01),which was 7.81%,8.86%,7.70%and 10.49%lower respectively.In addition to the digestibility of NDF,the DM,CP and ADF digestibility of test group ? were significantly higher than those of test group ? and ?(P<0.01),which were 13.44%,9.67%,6.393%,10.73%,9.98%and 11.78%respectively.(2)The digestibility of DM,CP,NDF and ADF in the four trial groups were not significantly different(P>0.05),but they were lower than the trial group ?(P<0.01),which were 14.15%,15.44%,11.11%,7.95%,16.17%,16.22%,13.38%,11.09%,13.55%,4.73%,11.58%,12.38%and 15.48%,15.94%,10.68%,9.72%lower respectively.
