This paper focuses on the biological characteristics of a new bud sport germplasm’Wuyuehong’from Taiwan precocious peach,the Taiwan precocious peach and its bud mutant ’B2’ for reference cultivars.In addition,SRAP markers were used to identify whether the genome of the bud sport germplasm’Wuyuehong’from Taiwan precocious peach mutated at the DNA level by comparing it with that of Taiwan precocious peach.It provides a basis for the registration,validation and promotion of new varieties.The results are as follows:1.The growth potential of’Wuyuehong’was strong,and the tree type was erect.The trunk is grey brown,rough surface,crack.The leaves are long elliptic lanceolate.The flowers are rose-shaped single petal,petals pink,complete flowers.The pistils and stamens develop normally and bear fruit by themselves.2.The early flowering period of’Wuyuehong’is about March 2,the flowering period is about March 11,and the color begins to change around April 24.The fruit ripens around May 5.The first flowering period of ’Wuyuehong’was 5 days later than that of Taiwan precocious peach and 21 days later than that of its bud mutant’B2’,but the fruit ripening period of’Wuyuehong’was 9 days earlier than that of Taiwan precocious peach and 16 days earlier than that of-its bud mutant’B2’,the fruit development period was 59 days,which was characterized by very early maturity.3.The single fruit weight of ’Wuyuehong’was about 66.18 g,which was 16.75 g higher than that of Taiwan precocious peach,but 17.65 g lower than that of its bud mutant’B2’.The noodles are bright red,the pulp is juicy,and the edible rate is as high as 95.4%,which is 2.1%and 1.0%higher than that of Taiwan precocious peach and its bud mutant’B2’,respectively.The content of soluble solids was 11.62%,increased by 4.01%and 1.44%,titratable acid was 0.31%,decreased by 0.22%and 0.34%respectively.It is an early-maturing variety with good quality and is suitable for planting in southern areas.4.The N content of’Wuyuehong’tree was lower than that of Taiwan precocious peach,and higher than that of its bud mutant’B2’.The content of P in’Wuyuehong’was basically the same as that in the control.The contents of K and Mg in’Wuyuehong’were higher than those in the con-trol.Ca content was basically the same as that of Taiwan precocious peach,which was higher than that of its bud mutant’B2’.5.In’Wuyuehong’DNA samples,1200 pb specific bands were amplified by specific primer me9/em5,indicating that the May Red genome had changed in DNA sequence.It can be concluded that’Wuyuehong’is a new germplasm resource of Taiwan precocious peach.In summary,’Wuyuehong’is a new germplasm resource with excellent fruit quality,which is suitable for popularization and planting in southern China. |
