Research And Development Of Dog-flavored Barium Meal And The Effects Of Shallow Anesthesia And Mosapride On Barium Meal Flow Speed

[Objective]The purpose of this paper was to study the special flavored barium meal for dogs,and to explore the effect of shallow anesthesia on the descending speed of barium meal in the gastrointestinal tract of dogs and the method of accelerating the descending speed of barium meal.[Methods](1)Firstly,the dog's favorite flavors were choosed from beef flavor,strong frankincense and fishy flavor.Secondly,The best barium meal concentration with the fastest flow rate and the best contrast effect in the dog's gastrointestinal tract was selected from 25%,30%and 35%barium meal.Then,the selected beef essence and barium sulfate were mixed into a flavored meal at a ratio of 1:4,1:5 and 1:6,and were orally administered to 6 beagle dogs.The left and abdomen positions of dogs were placed,the X-rays were taken at the following times:5 min,20 min,30 min,50 min,75 min,120 min,145 min,170 min,200 min,225 min,250 min,270 min,290 min.The contrast effects of the three proportional flavored meals were compared and the optimal ratio was chosen.Then,the contrast effect of the proportional flavored meal and the common barium meal was compared.At 24 h before the first digestive tract angiography and 24 h after the last digestive tract angiography in 6 dogs with beef miso meal,venous blood were collected from six dogs,and blood count and some blood biochemical indicators were tested.(2)Six Beagle dogs were given oral barium sulfate In the state of light anesthesia or non-anesthesia,and the effect of shallow anesthesia on the descending speed of barium meal in the gastrointestinal tract of dogs was observed.(3)Mosapride citrate was added to 100 mL 30%barium sulfate at doses of 0 mg/kg,1 mg/kg,2 mg/kg and 3 mg/kg,respectively,then fed to four beagle dogs.The left and abdomen positions of dogs were placed,the X-rays were taken at the following times:30 min,50 min,70 min and 90 min.The X-ray film were compared,the dose of mosapride citrate which leading the fastest flow of barium sulfate in the gastrointestinal tract is selected,and then the test were repeated with this dose.[Results](1)Beef-flavored meal is most loved by dogs.In the three concentrations of barium meal,30%barium meal has the fastest flow rate in the gastrointestinal tract,and its contrast effect is better than 25%,which is equivalent to 35%barium meal..Among the three proportions of beef miso meal,the 1:5 beef-flavored meal has the best contrast effect,its X-ray film effect is the same as that of ordinary barium meal,and had no adverse effects on canine blood cells,heart,liver and kidney.(2)Light anesthesia can cause barium sulfate to slow down in the gastrointestinal tract of dogs.(3)Adding 3mg/kg mosapride citrate to the barley meal makes the barium meal flow fastest in the gastrointestinal tract.
