Cut Roses?Rosa hybrid?that is a cultivar group rose family?Rosaceae?Rosa?Rosa?plants,named for being open every month,Cut Roses is known as the"queen of flowers"because of its beautiful fragrance and elegant flower pattern,It is a high-income crop product with great market consumption potential and strong demand.However,rose belongs to insensitive cut flower.Especially in the process of vase insertion,water and nutrient imbalance cause quality decline,such as petal shedding,browned partly,vaselife shortened and so on,which seriously affect the development of cut flower industry.In this experiment,We choose two varieties of cut rose,“Carola”and“Ziying”,as test materials,to study The effects of different non-toxic and non-polluting fungicides and ethylene inhibitors on the fresh-keeping of cut roses at different concentrations.which laid a foundation for screening the best formula of non-toxic,non-polluting and environmentally friendly fresh-keeping agentThe main findings of this work are as follows:1.The studies on the fresh-keeping of cut rose"Carola"and"Ziying"in different fungicides treatments showed that,adding a certain amount of ClO2 and KHSO5 in the vase solution could effectively inhibit bacterial reproduction in bottle insertion solution,and improve the preservation effect of cut rose.In the treatment of two fungicides,the ornamental quality and the vase life were significantly higher than the comparison,and theirs optimum concentrations were 75 mg/L and 100 mg/L,reaching 15 days.These concentrations treatments for increasing the flowers diameter,maintaining the water balance of cut rose,slowing down the decline of soluble sugar and soluble protein content and inhibit the increase of MDA content were better than others.2.The studies on the effect of different ethylene inhibitors on the fresh-keeping of cut rose varieties"Carola"and"Ziying"showed that,to a certain extent,adding different concentrations of KYN and PRT in the vase solution could inhibit the increase of ethylene release and enhance the ornamental value effectively.The optimum concentration of this two different ethylene inhibitors is 50mg/L,and in this concentration,the fresh weight and water balance of cut rose were the best,the decomposition of soluble sugar and protein was inhibited,and the increase of MDA was inhibited.Under the action of KYN the vase life of cut rose could reach 10 days and PRT could reach 9 days.In conclusion,adding appropriate concentration of fungicides?ClO2 and KHSO5?and ethylene inhibitors?KYN and PRT?in the bottle solution has better fresh-keeping effect on Cut Rose flowers.They can maintain the water absorption capacity and fresh weight quality of flower stems to a certain extent,inhibit bacterial reproduction,inhibit ethylene release,inhibit the increase of MDA content,inhibit soluble sugar and protein content,prolong the vase life of cut rose and the best ornamental period.
