| China is rich in genetic resources of laying ducks,the productivity and consumption of laying ducks rank first among countries,but the traditional laying ducks culture has a strong dependence on water resources,the industrial distribution and development have obvious resource dependence and regional concentricity.As a new culture model implemented in recent years,its application and development prospects are broad.A total of 4 248 female ducks at the age of 97 days were randomly divided into five groups and raised in five cage-rearing systems with the same depth of 36.00 centimeters(cm)and height of 37.00 cm,the width of which was 19.50 cm(G10,in termed as group of 10 cages),21.70 cm(G9),24.40 cm(G8),32.50 cm(G6),or 39.00cm(G5).Each group of ducks were distributed equally in each cage tier and front and back areas in the duck shed,except for the G5 and G6 were in pairs feeding,the other groups were single cage feeding.The aim of the study was to effect of different cage specification,amount of each cage,cage tiers,areas of duck shed on production performance and physiological state of Shan partridge duck,the main results are as follows:1.The production performance and physiological state was different under different cage speaification and amount of each cage,with the increasing of cage-rearing density,the ages at first egg and of 90% laying rate were gradually delayed,digestive organ development slows down,whereas the cracked egg rate,the mortality rate,average daily feed intake,ratio of feed to egg showed an increasing trend.There were advantages and disadvantages in the egg quality and serum biochemical parameter of the Shan Partridge ducks in each cage group,and there was no significant difference in the morphology of the magnum tubae uterinae and the uterus part,however,the duodenal villi morphology of the G8,G9,G10 were more stockiness,dense and regular arrangement than those of the G5,G6.it′s suggested that the specification of G8 was more suitable for the rearing of small laying duck,and the elimination duck feathers were more clean and complete,while G6 specification had the worst production performances,which was not employed for the egg production.2.There was no significant difference in average daily feed intake,the ratio of feed to egg,egg quality and V/C among different tiers(P>0.05),the increasing trend of weekly laying rate is basically similar.The top tier group of 50% laying rate,age of 90% laying rate is significant earlier than bottom tier(P<0.01),and the reproductive organs development and overall egg quality were better than the other cage tiers.In addition,serum biochemical indicators such as AST,ALP,and BUN in the middle tier are higher than the top and bottom tier,but the cardiac index,ovarian weight index,etc.are lower than the other cage tiers,and the length of villous in duodenum is extremely significantly lower than the bottom cage tier(P<0.01).3.The mechanical longitudinal negative pressure ventilation will make the various environmental parameters in the rear area of the shed worse than the front part of the shed,which makes the early egg production performance of the rear Shan Partridge duck slightly worse than the front,but it does not cause great difference.The test results can provide a scientific basis for the formulation of cage specifications,fine management and environmental control under different cage conditions,conducive to the follow-up cage-rearing ducks production test and the further promotion of the cagerearing model. |
