welfare of basic people.Since the implementation of the natural forest protection project in 2000,China’s forestry has embarked on the road of ecological construction-led development.The forestry production has changed from simply pursuing economic benefits to economic and ecological benefits,relying on the state’s financial support and forest tenure reform.A pattern has been formed to improve the level of forestry development and forestry production efficiency.Under the background of ecological civilization construction,an important way to solve the contradictory dilemma between forestry economic growth demand and forest resource protection is to improve the efficiency of forestry production factor allocation.The core factors and ways to improve the efficiency of forestry production factors allocation have become an urgent problem to be solved in China’s forestry development.The research is based on the perspective of ecological civilization,incorporating China’s forestry production factor allocation efficiency into the research horizon,and setting economic and ecological benefits as the output factors of forestry production activities,measuring the efficiency of forestry production factor allocation,and exploring the efficiency of forestry production factor allocation.Differences and time series changes,seeking key factors affecting the efficiency of forestry production factor allocation,providing theoretical support and policy recommendations for modern forestry construction.In this paper,based on the existing literature,the related concepts of production factor allocation efficiency are summarized and summarized,and the concept of forestry production factor allocation efficiency is defined in combination with forestry production characteristics.Secondly,the production frontier theory and distance function theory are selected as the theoretical basis for measuring the efficiency of forestry production factor allocation.The ecological benefit output and economic benefit output in forestry production activities are simultaneously included in the research field,and the provinces in the country are measured at the macro level.The allocation efficiency of forestry production factors further analyzed the regional differences and time series changes in the allocation efficiency of forestry production factors.The influencing factors of the efficiency of forestry production factor allocation were analyzed in detail.Finally,on the basis of the above research and analysis,a series of feasible suggestions are proposed to improve the efficiency of forestry production factor allocation.The main findings of the study are as follows:(1)In 2000-2016,the overall forestry production factor allocation efficiency
