| Ticks are a class of special blood sucking arthropods.More than 800 ticks have been found worldwide.Ticks have been identified to be able to transmit more than 200 pathogens, including viruses, bacteria and parasites. It has a serious impact on the economic development of human healthy life and animal husbandry.Due to the relatively few reports on tick transmission in China, the background of the epidemic in Qinghai is not clear. In this study, the investigation of tick species and 3 kinds of pathogenic bacteria in 20 counties and cities in Qinghai province is carried out to provide theoretical support for the prevention and control of tick borne diseases, and the research on tick and tick transmission is of great significance.Tick species in Qinghai province:From March to July 2016,1292 locusts were collected in 20 counties and cities in Qinghai Province of China, including 25 in Da-ri,30 in Datong,39 in Delingha, and 126 in Gangcha County.20 De County,24 Guinan County,30 Haishu County,200 Wuyuan County,40 Jianzha County,240 Ledu County,14 Mayuan County,200 Mengyuan County, and Minhe County There were 75 animals,10 in Nangqian County,55 in Qilian County,35 in Qumalai County,20 in Tianjun County,15 in Tongde County,85 in Yushu City and 11 in Zhidu County.According to morphological and molecular biological identification, the species in Qinghai Province were as follows: 674(52%)were Haemaphysalis qinghaiensis in Qinghai,462(37.5%)were Dermacentor nuttalli, and 158(12.2%)were Dermacentor silvarum.Haemaphysalis qinghaiensis is a dominant species in Qinghai Province.Infection rates of Rickettsia spp.,Anaplasma spp.,Babesia in ticks. The positive rates of rickettsia,Anaplasma, and Babesia in Qinghai Province were 3.9%,2.72% and 0.96%.The positive rate of Rickettsia spp.were respectively 5.6%,6.2%,and 2.3% in Dermacentor silvarum,Dermacentor nuttalli, and Haemaphysalis qinghaiensis. The positive rate of Anaplasma spp.were respectively 2.88%,4.21%,and 1.71% in Dermacentor silvarum,Dermacentor nuttalli, and Haemaphysalis qinghaiensis. The positive rate of Babesia were respectively 1.84% and 0.61% in Dermacentor nuttalli and Haemaphysalis qinghaiensis. Not found in the Dermacentor silvarum.Phylogenetic analyses showed that there were four Rickettsia spp.,one Anaplasma spp.,one Babesia. |
