Dairy cow's body temperature is closely related to its estrus,pregnancy and disease.Real-time sensing of cow's body temperature is of great significance to disease prediction,fine breeding and milk production.Aiming at solving the problems of inaccurate measurement results,poor real-time performance,poor signal transmission and small application range in the detection of cow body temperature information at home and abroad,a real-time monitoring system was designed to achieve high accuracy and real-time monitoring of cow body temperature information.Taking Holstein cows as the object of study,on the basis of researching and verifying the influence of the better shape and size of implantable sensor,the fixing method and the living tissue of cows on the transmission performance of implantable sensor,this paper studies the scheme of vaginal implantable temperature sensor node and real-time monitoring system of cow's body temperature,designs and develops the temperature sensor node and the software and hardware system of signal transmission and processing.Real-time and high-precision acquisition of individual temperature changes of dairy cows,real-time transmission of dairy cow temperature information to the computer through wireless sensor network,provides a new effective way for prediction of dairy cow estrus and prevention of dairy cow diseases.The main work and conclusions are as follows:(1)A real-time temperature detection system for dairy cows is proposed.On the basis of analyzing and comparing the advantages and disadvantages of several common communication technologies,a wireless sensor network combining 433 M wireless technology with 2.4 GHz ZigBee technology is proposed,which improved the poor transmission,high power consumption and so on.(2)An implantable temperature sensor for dairy cows is designed and developed innovatively.According to the practical requirement of high-precision temperature detection for dairy cows,a design scheme of implantable temperature sensor is proposed.On the basis of analysis and comparison,PT1000 is selected as temperature sensor,and the constant current source module circuit,voltage acquisition module circuit,temperature signal processing module circuit and wireless communication module circuit are designed.Four-wire platinum resistance wiring method and 24-bit analog-to-digital conversion are adopted.The device and intermittent measurement mode can improve the accuracy of temperature measurement and reduce power consumption.At the same time,the shape and packaging design of the sensor is carried out to ensure that it can work stably in cow vagina for a long time.The test results show that the radio frequency signals emitted by the implantable sensor can be effectively transmitted to the implantable sensor of cow's collar node(non-toxic,tasteless,no adverse effects on cows).The measurement error is within 0.05 ?,the maximum temperature fluctuation is 0.02 ? within 12 hours,and the measurement results are stable within 15 seconds.The sensor has good transmission,high measurement accuracy and good stability.(3)Dairy cow collar node,router and coordinator node are designed.Selecting the chips needed in wireless sensor networks,the hardware parameters and circuit design of each module of the whole monitoring system are described in details,including temperature sensor node,collar node,router and coordinator node.This paper mainly discusses the circuit design of collar node,the chip selection,networking mode of router and coordinator nodes.The designed wireless sensor network can effectively solve the problem that the network in dairy farm can not be self-organized.At the same time,the designed collar node can be extended to relay nodes of other nodes such as pedometers,PH sensors and so on,so as to realize the low power consumption of the network more effectively.(4)Design the whole monitoring system program.Including temperature sensor acquisition voltage program,voltage signal to temperature signal program,energy-saving program and information transmission program,and optimize the temperature signal processing,so that the measurement results are more stable,the whole monitoring system consumes less power and has a long standby time.It overcomes the problems of poor transmission and high power consumption of traditional temperature sensors.Based on the analysis of Z-Stack protocol,the coordinator networking function and the sending function of the collar node are designed.The functions of the coordinator network data establishment,the self-organizing network and the access and exit of the collar node are realized.The temperature of each cow can be monitored in real time on PC,and the historical temperature data can be automatically saved for user's convenience.(5)The performance of the monitoring system is stable,safe and reliable.On the basis of completing the hardware and software design of each node,according to the range and situation of dairy cows in the cattle farm,each node module is arranged in the cattle farm,and the performance of the monitoring system after layout is tested.The test results show that the loss rate of the whole system is less than 1.2%.The temperature information can be steadily uploaded to the PC terminal to meet the needs of high precision and real-time temperature monitoring of dairy cows,which achieve the desired objectives.
