Fertilizer has long been an important basis for increasing crop production.And it has been widely used in agricultural production,but it also has some negative impacts.In vegetable production,resulting in low utilization rate of fertilizer use of fertilizers,soil fertility decline lead to nutritional imbalance,vegetable quality is low,resulting in a waste of resources,energy consumption,environmental pollution and other important issues,has become restricts the development of China's modern agriculture barriers.Biological fertilizer and slow-release fertilizer play an important role in the improvement of soil fertility and maintenance,transformation of nutrient elements,promotion of crop growth,resistance to diseases and insect pests,improvement of chemical fertilizer utilization and environmental improvement.Brassica campestris L.ssp.Chinensis ‘Ziyoucai'(short for Ziyoucai in following texts),which possesses edible and ornamental traits,was used as material in this study,the effects of bio-fertilizer and slow-release fertilizer on its growth and quality were studied in order to provide a theoretical basis for the gradual development of new fertilizers in vegetable production.The main research results are as follows:1.Different concentrations of seaweed fertilizer had significant effects on morphological indexes and physiological indexes of Ziyoucai.The results showed that the seaweed fertilizer was helpful for increasing its biomass and improved the contents of anthocyanin and vitamin C.Under the concentrations with T3(1: 1200 dilute),which was 1.5 times higher by compared with the control and a higher root/shoot ratio was observed by compared with other treatments.A significant increase of the plant height was present under treatments with lower concentrations of the seaweed fertilizer,especially under T4(1:1600),which was 1.3 times higher by compared with the control.The highest value of moisture content,anthocyanin content,soluble protein content and the vitamin C content was present under T3 and T4 treatment.Taken together,1200~1600 times of dilution ratio was the best among all tested seaweed fertilizers for the cultivation of Ziyoucai,and the best comprehensive quality of Ziyoucai could be achieved under the treatments.2.The influence of different proportion of slow-release fertilizer on the quality of Ziyoucai was studied.The results showed that the Osmocote slow-release fertilizer accelerated the growth and development of Ziyoucai.The fresh weight of the upper part of the plant was the highest under H3(4 g/L)~H5(16 g/L)treatment,and its fresh weight was about 1.7 times of that of CK.The highest plant height under H3(4 g/L)treatment was about 1.2 times as high as that of CK,and chlorophyll,soluble protein and vitamin C content were the highest.Anthocyanin content was highest under H4(8 g/L)~H5(16 g/L)treatment,and H3(4 g/L)~H5(16 g/L)treatment has the highest soluble sugar content.The amount of nitrate nitrogen increased obviously when the amount of application was greater than 8 g/L.Comprehensive morphology,yield,nutrition index and financial reason,application amount of slow release fertilizer under 4 g/L treatment,the content of chlorophyll,soluble protein and vitamin C content was highest,which was the best treatment for the cultivation of Ziyoucai among all the tested treatments.
