This thesis is to compare the effects of drip irrigation with plastic mulch and drip irrigation without membrane on the root growth of maize through experimental study on the effect of the root growth of maize under the drip irrigation with plastic mulch.The experiment was conducted in the west of Jilin province,Ningjiang district Minle village of Songyuan City,which is a semi-arid area.The autumn harvest corn stalk was directly returned to the field and after the second spring suppression,the soil was closed and weeded,and the drip irrigation capillary tubes and mulching were applied.The experiment was conducted in 2 large areas,namely,plastic mulch drip irrigation(S treatment)and drip irrigation without membrane(control CK treatment).In the experiment,a large-ridge and double-row planting method was adopted.The planting density was 65,000 plants per hectare under the planting pattern of large ridges and double rows(130cm ridge width and 65 cm above the ridge).The seedlings were induced when two maize leaves emerged and the drip irrigation equipment was used to carry out the fertilizer.During the growth of maize,the soil moisture was irrigated according to the soil moisture,so as to ensure that all the communities were filled with water.And other management measures are consistent with ordinary production fields.Through the study of the aerial root number,root cap ratio and root bleeding intensity,root soluble sugar and root soluble protein of maize roots,the advantage of drip irrigation with plastic mulch compared to drip irrigation without membrane was obtained.The results showed:1.Drip irrigation with plastic mulch can increase the fresh weight and dry weight of maize roots.Also,maize grew better and absorbed nutrients in the soil better.The contact area between the root and the soil became larger,and the corn can grasp the soil better,and the anti-lodging ability increased greatly.Compared with the maize roots under drip irrigation without membrane,the roots of maize under drip irrigation with plastic mulch were significantly greater than those in the fresh weight and dry weight.The organic matter content of maize root under plastic mulch was higher than that of non mulch after baked in the oven.2.Drip irrigation with plastic mulch can increase the number of aerial roots of maize,allow corn roots to better absorb gas,and strongly support maize to grow upward,better maintain moisture,and enhance lodging resistance.The number of aerial roots of maize under drip irrigation with plastic mulch during the growing period was always more than that of non mulch covered.3.Drip irrigation with plastic mulch can increase the weight of maize roots,thereby increasing the dry matter content ratio of the subsurface and aerial parts of the maize.At flare opening stage,the root shoot ratio of maize under drip irrigation with plastic mulch was the largest and the ratio of next period decreased,but the root shoot ratio of mulched drip irrigation was still higher than that of non mulch drip irrigation.4.Drip irrigation with plastic mulch can increase the bleeding intensity of maize roots.Under the same measuring time,the bleeding intensity of maize roots under drip irrigation with plastic mulch was obviously higher than that of non-mulching maize roots.And at the mature stage,it reached the maximum.5.Drip irrigation with plastic mulch can increase the content of soluble sugar in maize roots.At flare opening stage,the content of soluble sugar increased rapidly,and then decreased.But the soluble sugar content in roots of maize under drip irrigation with plastic mulch was higher than that of soluble sugar content in maize roots under drip irrigation without membrane.6.Drip irrigation with plastic mulch can increase the content of soluble protein in maize roots.From tasseling to mature stage,the content of soluble protein in roots of maize increased rapidly,and the content of soluble protein in roots of maize under drip irrigation with plastic mulch was higher than that of soluble protein in maize roots under drip irrigation without membrane.
