The serious consequences of soil erosion have directly affected human daily life and even threatened regional resource development?social stability and economic sustainable development. In recent years,China's soil erosion control work has been highly valued by the state and governments at all levels. With the implementation of the first national water census in 2011,the Fujian provincial government began to carry out key governance work in areas with serious soil erosion in 2012.In order to grasp the changes of soil erosion?assess the details of soil and water conservation measures implemented and the effectiveness of soil erosion control in various cities in Fujian Province in recent years, this paper uses remote sense and geospatial information technology, based on CSLE(China Soil Loss Equation),Comparatively analyzes the Spatiotemporal variation characteristics of soil erosion and implementation of soil and water conservation measures?counts the benefits of various types of water conservation measures and their driving factors in 14 counties(cities)of Fujian Province from 2015to 2018,expected to provide a theoretical reference for promoting local governments to develop more comprehensive soil and water conservation policies. The main conclusions of this paper are as follows:(1)By 2018,the area of soil erosion in 14 key counties(cities)totaled 662.08km~2,accounting for 2.25%of the province's land area.Compared with 2015,the area of soil erosion decreased by nearly 1000km~2,and the proportion decreased by about 4%.Among the soil erosion areas in 2018,the light soil erosion area accounted for 605.45km~2,which is 2.05%of the total area.Moderate and strong soil erosion are 53.67 km~2and 2.96 km~2,respectively,accounting for less than 1%of the total area.As of 2018,there is almost no strong and above-mentioned erosion levels in 14 counties(cities). The largest area of soil erosion is Ninghua County, followed by Datian County and Nan'an City In 2018,(2)From 2015 to 2018,the area of soil erosion in all counties(cities)shows a downward trend. The City with the largest reduction in area of soil erosion is Nan'an,followed by Pinghe County and Xianyou County.According to reducing the area ratio of soil erosion,Yongchun County ranks first,Nan'an City ranks second, and Xianyou County ranks third. In the change of soil erosion and growth.the area of about1556.90km~2 erosion land changes in different erosion degrees. The main performance feature is that higher erosion levels are transferred to lower levels.(3)As for the area of eroded land,In 2018,among 14 key counties(cities),there is largest area of soil erosion in Nan'an City, second place is Datian County, and third is Yongchun County. In the three years, the county with the most eroded land area reduced is Ninghua, followed by Nan'an City and Jianning County. On the composition of eroded land, cultivated land has always dominated, and the proportion of land used for mining and rural construction has risen.(4)On the soil and water conservation measures, the total area of three kinds of new increased measures is 567.87 km~2,and nearly 90%is ecological control measures, followed by engineering measures and farming measures. In terms of governance benefits, engineering measures are the best and most effective, followed by biological and farming measures.(5)In terms of driving factors, when adopting soil and water conservation measures, all counties and cities pay more attention to obtaining direct ecological benefits of soil and water conservation, and are driven by soil erosion area and soil erosion degree. In the process of soil erosion control, not only the treatment of soil erosion plots is neglected, but also the mediating role of urbanization development and erosion plots remediation on the benefits of soil and water conservation and the improvement of social economic level.
