In this experiment, the effects of different straw returning methods on the growth, physiological characteristics and yield of maize roots were studied by means of different straw returnig methods.Taking Xiangyu 998 as test material, set up straw enrichment and deep landscaping treatment(FJ),straw deep turning back to field treatment(SF),straw mulching and returning field treatment(FG),straw stalking and thinning soil reclaiming treatment(QMC),and control not returning to field treatment(CK)5 treatments,The test uses wide and narrow rows of planting methods, large area planting.Mainly analyze the dynamic changes of growth characteristics and physiological characteristics of maize roots, and the effects of different straw returning methods on maize yield,so as to explore suitable straw returning methods. The main results as follows:1.Straw returning increased the root length of the middle stage of maize growth, and the four straw returning methods significantly increased the root length of the large bell mouth maize, among them, the straw is enriched and buried in the field, and the straw is shallow and the thin soil is covered.Straw deep turning back to the field, straw mulching to return to the field, straw enrichment and deep burial from high to low significantly increased the length of maize roots during grain filling2.In the four straw returning methods, the straw enrichment and deep grazing can significantly increase the dry weight of maize roots in the seedling stage, and the straw mulching and returning to the field, the straw stalking and thinning the soil will significantly increase the large trumpet period and the dry weight of the maize roots during the tasseling period.3 Straw deep turning back to the field, straw enrichment and deep burial significantly increased the soil water content of 0-60 cm soil layer, straw mulching and returning, straw stalking and thin soil covering significantly increased the soil moisture content of 0-20 cm soil layer;Four methods of straw returning increased the number of maize brace roots and the number of inserted soil brace roots;Straw enrichment and deep mulching, straw stalking and thinning of soil cover increased the number of straight roots in the early growth stage of maize, and straw mulching returned to the field increased the number of roots at jointing stage.Straw enrichment and deep burial reduced the length of hypocotyls at jointing stage.4.Four straw returning methods significantly reduce the root amplitude angle;Straw mites and thin soils significantly increased the ratio of root to shoot in corn seedling stage, big trumpet period and tasseling stage.Straw mulching also increased the ratio of root to shoot in the big trumpet period and tasseling period, and the straw was turned over.Field and straw cover returning to the field reduced the root-shoot ratio during grain filling.5.The four straw returning methods increased the amount of wound fluid in the big bell stage and filling stage of maize to varying degrees; In addition to straw stalks and thin soils, the other three straw returning methods significantly reduced the soluble sugar content during the growth period of maize;Four methods of straw returning increased the content of soluble protein in maize during the whole growth period.6.Four straw returning methods significantly increased the 100-grain weight of maize kernels, the deep returning of the straw to the field and the returning of the straw to the field significantly increased the axial thickness and increased the final yield.Straw deep turning back to the field to increase the maximum yield.Straw returning can promote the growth and development of maize roots and play an active role in its physiological characteristics and yield.Different straw returning methods have different effects on maize yield increase. This study shows that straw ploughing back to the field and straw mulching is suitable for returning straw to the field. However, with the extension of straw returning time, the effect of different straw returning methods on maize root growth and yield will become more and more obvious At that time, the appropriate straw returning method can be selected from a variety of straw returning methods to increase production.
