Investigation And Remedial Measures Of Freezing Injury In Apple Flowering Period In Luochuan,Shaanxi Province In 2018

Luochuan County is an apple eugenic area,but the area is affected by freezing injury in apple flowering period.On April 5-7,2018,the apples in luochuan suffered from severe freezing injury.This experiment investigated the freezing injury of flowering in four orchards and six different varieties in Luochuan County,and the fertilizer and water management of ‘Nagafu No.2' after freezing injury were studied,so as to provide reference for taking appropriate measures of fertilizer and water remediation after the freezing injury of apple flowering period in Luochuan County.The results were as follows:1?The orchards with the most serious freezing injury in the four orchards are located in Asi Village,which is a low-lying terrain.The inflorescence freezing injury rate,flower freezing injury rate and leaf-level ? grade freezing injury rate of Fuji's were 70.7%,86.9%,7.0%,followed by the orchard in the Lujiahe Village,it is a hillside terrain.2?Among the 6 varieties of Luochuan Apple Experimental Station,the most serious injury was ‘Gala',the freezing injury rate of inflorescence and flower were 52.6%,64.97%,the lightest was ‘Honeycrisp',the freezing injury rate of inflorescence and flower were 27.1%,53.3%.In addition,the short-branched and arborized types of Fuji were relatively heavy and the dwarfing type was relatively light.3?After freezing injury,the average fruit weight,soluble solids content and other indicators of apple decreased to different extents.Freezing injury in apple flowering period affected the quality of apple.4?Comparing and analyzing the yield per plant of apple in 2017 and 2018,It was found that the yield per plant of ‘Honeycrisp' and ‘Yanchanghong' decreased by 35.7% and 45.1% respectively after freezing injury in 2018,and the average yield per plant of 6 varieties decreased by 46.9%.Freezing injury in apple flowering period affected the yield of apple.5?After freezing injury in flowering period,each tree was remedy for fertilizer and water according to 20 kg sheep manure +0.5 kg compound fertilizer + 50 kg water,It can effectively prevent and control the effects of freezing injury on apple quality and yield.
