Grapes are widely cultivated all over the world and have great economic value.China has the largest production and consumption capacity of fresh grapes in the world.As an important grape producing area in China,the northwest region is under the stress of soil salinization,drought and cold,causing the decline of grape yield and quality,seriously affecting the development of grape industry.Breeding resistant rootstocks which adapt to different environments and have high graft compatibility can fundamentally solve the harm of environmental stress to grapes.It is of great significance to the development of grape industry in China.Grape rootstock hybrids from four cross combinations(V.riparia(?)×V.amurensi sacc.Zuoshan75097,V.amurensis acc.Taishan-11×V.riparia Mcadams,V.amurensis acc.Taishan-11×V.rupestris,(V.berlandieri×V.riparia)×V.amurensis acc.Heilongjiang seedling)were used as experimental materials.In the experiment,alkali and drought stress were applied to test materials.Investigating the severity of alkali and drought injury.Detectiving physiological and biochemical index.The alkali and drought resistance were evaluated by the subordinate function analysis.We can reach the following conclusion:1.The results showed that chlorophyll content decreased,REL and MDA content increased with the extension of alkali stress time.Using the alkali injury index as the main index and subordinate function analysis as reference,the alkali-tolerance level of tested materials could be divided into five types.The hybrid ‘HS-5'and control‘5BB'belonged to high resistance.‘HS-1'‘HS-2'‘HS-6'‘HS-8'‘HS-9'‘HS-11'‘HS-12'‘TH-2'‘TH-3'‘BBS-1'‘BBS-4'‘BBS-5'‘BBS-10'and‘BBS-15'belonged to resistance.‘HS-3'‘TH-1'‘BBS-13'and‘Red Globe'belonged to middle resistance.‘HS-4'‘HS-7'‘TS-1'‘TS-3'‘BBS-2'‘BBS-3'and‘BBS-11'were sensitive to alkali.‘HS-10'‘TS-6'‘BBS-6'‘BBS-7'‘BBS-8'‘BBS-9'and‘BBS-12'were susceptible to alkali.2.In drought tolerance experiment,chlorophyll content and RWC decreased,REL,MDA and Pro content increased with the extension of drought stress time.Using the drought injury index as the main index and subordinate function analysis as reference,the drought-tolerance level of tested materials could be divided into four types.‘HS-6'‘BBS-8'‘BBS-11'‘Red Globe'belonged to fortissimo drought resistance.‘HS-1'‘HS-2'‘HS-3'‘HS-4'‘HS-8'‘HS-9'‘HS-12'‘TS-6'‘BBS-1' ‘BBS-2'‘BBS-3'‘BBS-5'‘BBS-6'‘BBS-12'‘BBS-13'‘BBS-15' belonged to high drought resistance.‘HS-7'‘HS-10'‘HS-11'‘TS-1'‘BBS-4'‘BBS-10'‘5BB'belonged to moderate drought resistance.‘HS-5'‘TH-1'‘TH-2'‘TH-3'‘TS-3'‘BBS-7'‘BBS-9' belonged to low drought resistance.
