The cultivated area of quinoa is increasing year by year due to cold tolerance,drought tolerance,salt and alkali resistance,resistance to infertility and high nutritional value.This paper choose 9 quinoa varieties for cultivation experiments sets up two experimental sites in Kailu and Naiman in the Horqin Sandy Land.By observing the growth and development process of quinoa and measuring the plant height,main stem diameter,branch number,dry matter accumulation,chlorophyll content,enzyme activity and yield of quinoa,Study the growth and adaptability of quinoa,Screening for quinoa varieties suitable for planting in Horqin Sandy Land,It provides a basis for the introduction and cultivation of quinoa in this area and large-scale cultivation.The main findings are as follows:(1)The total growth period of quinoa is between 138 and 151 days.The shortest growing period is Mengyu2,and the longest growing variety is Taihong.(2)The average plant height of quinoa was 190.7cm,the average main stem diameter was 26.0mm,and the average number of branches was 35.3plants/strain.The variety with the highest dry matter accumulation is Taihong,which are 255.95g/plant.The species with the lowest dry matter accumulation was R1BF2;the average is 147.06g/strain.(3)The chlorophyll content of quinoa leaves was the highest at the branching stage,with an average content of 1.26mg/gFW.The highest chlorophyll content of the leaves was Taihong,which was 1.58mg/gFW;the species with the lowest chlorophyll content of the leaves was C4R-11,which was 1.08mg/g FW.(4)The SOD activity,CAT activity and MDA content of quinoa leaves showed a first increase and then decrease with the growth process.The SOD activity of quinoa leaves was the highest at the panicle stage,and the highest variety was Taiwan red,which was 22.87u/g·FW.In the same period,the CAT activity of F2 leaves in the Kailu test site was the highest,being 20.73u/gFW·min.At the flowering stage,the MDA content of R1BF2 leaves was the highest in Kailu test.(5)The thousand-grain weight of quinoa is 0.81 to 2.57g.The highest variety of 1000-grain weight is Mengjing No.2,with an average of 2.57g.The lowest variety of 1000-grain weight is Taihuanghong,which is 0.8 1g.The highest yield of different quinoa varieties was Taihong,which was 1743.15kg/hm2,and the lowest yield was R1BF2,with an average of 98.93kg/hm2.In summary,The 9 quinoa varieties selected in the experiment can complete the growth and development in the test site.The average yield of quinoa in the total community is 723.43kg/hm2.The best variety of 1000-grain weight is Mengyu2;the best variety of yield performance is Taihong.
