| Sorghum is a kind of grain and feed crops with strong salt tolerance and drought tolerance It is suitable for the development and utilization of coastal beach.It can not only improve soil but also produce economic benefits.Seed priming can solve the problem of sorghum seedling being sensitive to salt stress and poor salt tolerance,and improve the emergence rate of sorghum.In 201 8,the experiment was conducted in the Joint Laboratory of agricultural and agri product safety international cooperation of Ministry of education of Yangzhou University,and the coastal forest farm of Dafeng,Yancheng City,Jiangsu.The total soil nitrogen content was 0.72 g/kg,available phosphorus 1.45 mg/kg,available potassium 279 mg/kg,organic matter 19.75 g/kg,PH 8.8(8.21-9.48)and the average content of salt 1.67g/kg.In this experiment,Canadian sorghum CFSH30 and sorghum 1230 were used as experimental materials to study the effects of seed priming(H2O2,NaCl,KCl,MgSO4)on Sorghum germination,seedling growth,growth regulation effect and yield.The main results are as follows:1.Effects of seed priming on Germination and seedling growth of Sorghum in saline alkali soilFor Canadian forage sorghum CFSH30:2%H2O2 has better effect on increasing germination rate,50 mM KCl has better effect on leaf area increasing,250 mM MgSO4 has better effect on fresh weight of seedlings,and 52.0 mM NaCl has better effect on dry weight of seedlings;For sorghum 1230:2%H2O2 has a better effect on germination rate,52.0 mM NaCl has a better effect on the increase of leaf area,and 50 mM KCl has better effect on fresh weight and dry weight of seedlings;In this experiment,the initiators concentration for two sorghum varieties were 52.0 mM NaCl,2%H2O2,250 mM MgSO4,and 50 mM KCl.2.Effects of seed priming on growth and dry matter accumulation of sorghum in saline-alkali soilSeed priming could increase plant height,fresh weight yield and dry weight yield of sorghum under salt stress.The KCl treatment has the best effect on sorghum yield.The fresh weight yield of CFSH30 and sorghum 1230 reached 82.8 and 119.3 t/ha,increased by 14.6 and 20.7 t/ha respectively,and the dry weight yield reached 39.7 and 47.8 t/ha,and increase of 9.9 and 14.6 t/ha compared to the control.3.Effects of seed priming on physiological characteristics and element accumulation of sorghum in saline-alkali landSeed priming has no obvious effect on content of light and pigment in sorghum.Seed priming could promote the accumulation of sorghum sucrose and starch,and increase the activity of CAT,POD,SOD and other antioxidant enzymes in sorghum in saline-alkali land.Under salt stress,the content of osmotic adjustment substances such as sorghum soluble sugar and proline induced by seeds was higher than that of the control,and it effectively reduced the content of malondialdehyde in sorghum in saline-alkali land,and reduced the lipid membrane peroxidation of sorghum cell membrane.The content of nitrogen,phosphorus,potassium,calcium,magnesium and other elements of sorghum varieties were significantly different,and there was no significant difference in other contents except for the phosphorus element during the triggering treatment.The element content of sorghum 1230 was higher than that of CFSH30,nitrogen per unit biomass Phosphorus and potassium content gradually decreased with growth and development,and the content of calcium and magnesium and other elements did not differ much during each growth period. |
