With the development of economy, the development of donkey breeding industry in China has gradually changed from domestic servitude to large-scale breeding.Parasitosis has become one of the main factors restricting the healthy development of the industry.Xinjiang is one of the traditional main production areas of donkey in China. In recent years, the donkey breeding industry has been regarded as one of the main drivers of regional characteristic economic development in Xinjiang,in this study, the fecal samples of donkey in Xinjiang were examined by the method of saturated sucrose solution floating,The species and genotype of Cryptosporidium and Giardia duodenum were identified by PCR,in order to provide basic data for the prevention and control of donkey intestinal parasitosis in Xinjiang.(1)A total of 680 donkey feces samples were collected from 15 cities / counties in Xinjiang, six kinds of eggs or oocysts of intestinal parasites were found by floating method of saturated sucrose solution, the total infection rate was 45.2%(307/680),the highest infection rate was 79.6%(43/54)in Yuepu lake and11.1%(3/27)in Bohu lake.the infection rate of Strongyloid was 36.5%(248/680),and that of Parascaris equorum was 10.9%(74/680),the infection rates of Coccidia,Cryptosporidium,Pinworm and Anaplocephala were 0.9%(6/680),1.8%(12/680),0.3%(2/680)and 0.4%(3/680),respectively the infection rate of donkey under one year old and over one year old was 44.3%(131/296)and 42.1%(136/323)respectively,and the infection rate of intestinal parasites in large-scale breeding and scattered breeding was 48.4%(243/502)and 34.0%(64/178)respectively.The results showed that the average OPG of Coccidia was 333.3,the EPG of Parascaris equorum and Strongyloid were 577.0 and 645.6,and the EPG of Pinworm and Anaplocephala were ? 200.The results showed that the infection of donkey intestinal parasites was common in some areas of Xinjiang,so it was necessary to treat them pertinently,In order to reduce the infection chance of different kinds of parasites, the management of environmental sanitation should be strengthened.(2)Based on the SSUrRNA gene,680 donkey fecal DNA samples from 15 cities / counties in Xinjiang were detected by PCR.The infection rate of Cryptosporidium was 2.4%(16/680),Cryptosporidium infection was found in donkey samples from 4 cities/counties.The infection rate ranged from 5.6%(1/18)to 18.2%(2/11).The infection rates of Cryptosporidium were 4.4%(13/296)and 0.9%(3/323)in donkeys under 1 year old and over 1 year old respectively. The infection rate of Cryptosporidium donkeys was 100%(16/16)in the large-scale farm, but no infection was found in the scattered farm.Sixteen positive PCR products were sequenced and sequenced.Three Cryptosporidium species were identified.C.parvum(n = 2),C.hominis(n = 13)and C.horse genotypes(n = 1),all of them were zoonoses. The results showed that the infection rate of Cryptosporidium donkeys in Xinjiang was relatively low,but it could carry Cryptosporidium species of zoonoses, which had potential risk of zoonoses.(3)Based on the SSUrRNA gene,680 donkey faeces DNA samples from 15 cities/counties in Xinjiang were detected by PCR.It was found that the infection rate of G.duodenalis was 18.1%(123/680),The results showed that the infection rate of G.duodenalis was 2.9%(1/34)-53.3%(8/15),The infection rates of Giardia donkeys were 2.8%(5/178)and 23.5%(118/502)in free range and large-scale farms,respectively.123 PCR products were sequenced and sequenced.Three kinds of agglomerates wereidentified, agglomerates A(n = 20),B(n = 99)and E(n = 4),were all at risk of zoonotic. The results showed that it was common for donkey to infect G.duodenalis in Xinjiang, and the preponderant agglomerations were A and B,which were caused by both human and animal,The risk assessment of zoonoses should be further strengthened. Conclusion, the infection of donkey intestinal parasites is common in some areas of Xinjiang, the examination and monitoring of fecal parasitology should be strengthened, reasonably select anthelmintics for anthelminting, reduce economic losses,in order to ensure the healthy development of donkey industry in Xinjiang.
